We bought 6 of these, the last one took 20 minutes to put together . Definitely worth cutting the allen wrench to fit the cordless drill. The chairs feel sturdy and appear well made. I ordered four of these for our lake house patio and they look wonderful. They were relatively easy to put together. The instructions were fairly clear. I would recommend using a cordless drill with the right bit and a socket wrench. I did not use the tools that came with the chairs as that would have taken forever and would have led to hand pain. But if you have the right tools, they are easy to assemble. I like the addition of the cup holder and that it rotates under the arm to be hidden away. I was really impressed with how sturdy and large these Adirondack chairs were when they arrived. I got the matching outdoor side tables. The chairs were reasonably easy to assemble. Some other reviewers noted it was hard to attach the chain, but the chain came already attached in my order. I didn’t quite have all the hardware to build both when they arrived, and was missing a set of braces for one of the chair - I contacted Amazon Help, and the company had a full set of hardware and the missing braces sent quickly, so I was able to complete building the second one in less than a week. I’m amazed at the quality! I’d started pricing patio furniture, and similar chairs were running a lot more! They also came with marine grade hardware so I won’t have to worry about rust. I also like the fact that they fold so I can put them away for the winter and they will take up less space. As another reviewer noted, because they’re solid, these chairs are heavy, which I think is great! And because it’s polywood, it doesn’t get too hot in the hot summer sun.
