  • Works perfectly for my Soprano Sax
Color: Soprano Sax Stands
This is a solid soprano sax or flute stand (with removable foam insert). Very stable and packs down reasonably small for a steel stand.

  • Easy to fold up and carry, good price.
Color: Flute, Clarinet, Oboe Stand
I bought two of these. One for my oboe and one for my English horn. They’re working out well and easy fit in the pocket of my Protec combo case. They seem pretty sturdy.

  • Very sturdy, supportive, and unlikely to tip over.
Color: Flute, Clarinet, Oboe Stand
This stand is very sturdy and when set up the legs positively lock in to place. It comes apart in two parts for transport but isn't really super compact even then because of the width of the bell support, but I will put up with the bell being the "support" over compactness any day. The bell is resisting on the stand rather than the bore and is another point in this stands favor. I think this is a quite good stand and is fairly well made. It isn't perfect, because I wish is was a bit more compact when folded, but if it was compact other compromises may have had to have been made. Good stands are often not quite as portable, but this isn't bad. ... show more

  • Good stand, isn’t small enough for a piccolo
Color: Flute, Clarinet, Oboe Stand
i switch between flute and piccolo so i bought this in hopes that i could place one on when not in use, but alas my piccolo is too narrow to fit on the peg. i wish the sizing was better described. but it’s a really good stand; i think i’ll still use it for my flute when im not playing it. it’s really sturdy and i do definitely recommend. especially for the broke baddies who can’t afford (or don’t want to drop money on) the $40+ Hercules stand. definitely wish there was more places to put different pegs but i did only pay $20 on it so i can’t be too picky (i really want a good dupe of that Hercules stand LMFAO). tldr: very good, very sturdy, very no fit piccolo ... show more

  • Not for a flute
Color: Flute, Clarinet, Oboe Stand
The media could not be loaded. Had to return it immediately. Pros: sturdy, portable. Cons: definitely not good for a flute. The post is so thin the flute immediately tilts. The buttons to collapse it are a bit hard on arthritic hands.

  • I wish I had this when I was a flute student!
Color: Portable Flute Stands
I was a flute student, and now my household includes 2 additional flute students. This is just so handy. When taking a break during practicing, the "tradition" had been to simply put the instrument down on a chair or on the case, but it was always in danger of accidentally getting bumped out of place by someone walking by - and we all know, if it hits the floor, especially with any velocity - there could be a very expensive repair bill coming. This stand is much sturdier - though, let's face it, it could still be knocked over by someone walking by carelessly. BUT - 1. The flute on the stand is easier to place out of harm's way if your budding musician is coming back to continue practicing, and 2. if it does tip, the instrument doesn't have as far to go and is far less likely to suffer injury. Also a perfect solution for those who might play multiple instruments - absolutely imperative to have available during a performance. ... show more
