It's past gardening season, but this sturdy little bench/kneeler will still be useful in the winter. I thought this product would be flimsy, weak, hard to assemble, and hard to fold up, but I was wrong on all counts. It is super easy to assemble, and the instructions are helpful if you even need them. Just pop the handles into the base and hang the handy pouch and you are good to go. To fold, remove the pouch and press the bars with the springs together slightly (and doesn't need much hand strength at all) - it will fold right up. And no pinched fingers. I mentioned it's not gardening season, but I still have use for this inside. It's great for maintaining potted plants but where it really comes in handy is low cabinets. No kneeling on the floor to get into a low cabinet. I used it while reorganizing my low cabinet pull-outs. It is meant for outdoor use, so it expects soft ground. The leg ends are more suitable for that than for hard floors, but you can put it on a rug or be careful to not make it slide while using indoors. It's not going to scratch your floor or skid unless you aren't slightly careful. Though I didn't need it for kneeling, I tested it to see how comfortable the cushion is. It is the right amount of softness. Cushions just right. I highly recommend this product (I just told my sister it's a little treasure!) - you will be able to use it year-round, indoors and out. .

It's almost refreshing to see something that is so "old school" in design—steel tubes that use spring loaded buttons to lock parts into place, etc. The seat cushioning is pretty minimal, I think its main usefulness is in the inverted position, where as a kneeling support, it will offer a bit of kneecap relief—but I'll still need more padding for my 70+ year old knees. I've taken a star off because one of the legs locks in a slightly off 90 degree position (see included photo). I've tried finessing the lock on that leg to se if I can get it more square, but, it's fairly tight tolerances, and doesn't lock at any other angle. This does not seem to affect its stability, but I really like symmetry....

This was very easy to assemble. There is a gray cushion attached to the stool and is comfortable used either as a kneeler or seat. The detachable blue cushion adds comfort as well. The velcro is strong and holds the seat in place. The tools pouch fits over the arm so that it can be close in the kneeling or seated position. My husband felt like it was very sturdy while sitting on it; he is about 220 lbs. The legs lock into place. They fold easily and the entire seat is compact to store in the off-season. This is a great value for all that this offers.

Easy folding garden kneeler. With a seat and kneeler it is very versatile and sturdy. Folds flat for storage. I have used it and have had no issues with stability or weakness of product. 200+ lbs person. The bag for tools is good sized and works either way you have the kneeler or seat.

A very well made product and a knee saver! I cannot tell you how much we appreciate this kneeler in my family!!! My wife loves gardening, and, I am required to help... This thing is so good, I don't refuse as much anymore... It is very light yet very sturdy. It folds flat easily. It's easy to unfold. It can be used as a kneeler of a seat having padding for both. The tool bag is good, but we don't use it. We simply love the benefits of the seat. Because it keeps your knees higher up, it is easier to stand up, and because you can hold on the sides, it's even more easy! It is very sturdy! I love it! (speaking for both of us!)

This is a nicely designed product, but it has a distinct chemical smell that I do not like and gives me a headache. That makes this unusable for me. It is decently built. I do like the extra cushion. It has a handy pocket. You can use it as a seat or a kneeler. It is not as wide as many of these, but I would give it a better rating if it did not have that chemical smell.

I would have given 3.5 stars if half stars were available. I have a lot of things I really like about this garden kneeler, and possibly I just got a bad one. The kneeler arrives with the top handles disconnected from the rest of the frame, and you have to connect them. Unfortunately one of the tubes on mine was misshapen, and I was unable to get the handle to slide in. My husband had to use tools to reshape and pound the handle in, but if I hadn't had those options, I would have had to leave the handle off on one side. It is also uneven on the ground and wobbles. I am hoping as I get into weeding season in a couple months that I won't notice it as much. Now for the good. I really like the options to sit or kneel, and that kneeling is a couple inches off the ground, which is better for my posture and my feet comfort . The pad is soft and comfortable to kneel/sit on. And it is a good height. It also is very easy to pop up and collapse.
