  • Great so far! Excellent customer service!
Just received my bike after a nightmare FedEx situation. FedEx mislabeled my package and I was delivered a king size mattress instead of the bike. DTTZH responded immediately when I reached out and helped me with this issue. Although I ultimately had to do a lot of ground work myself in tracking down my package and dealing with FedEx (horrible customer service experience). The bike itself is great so far and the assembly was super simple. However I’m 6’2 and I’m having trouble pedaling, so I can already see I will mainly be using the throttle. Keep your height in mind when purchasing. I’ve also noticed that the brakes aren’t perfect either so you have to be careful when you hit that 20 mph mark. Overall, the bike has a quality build and parts..battery charges fairly quickly and it looks amazing. I would say it’s a good purchase for my first E Bike! ... show more

  • Not bad for price

Not bad for the price. Has a rattle when riding, I think its from the battery slot area. Thinking about returning it for a different one.

  • Great starter e-bike
Color: 14" 1000W 15Ah - Black
I recently purchased the DTTZH Peak 1000W Folding Electric Bike for Adults (14" Foldable Ebike, 750W Motor, 48V 15Ah Removable Battery, UL 2849 Certified, 60 Miles PAS Range) as a compact commuting solution, and after a month of regular use, I’m ready to share my detailed experience. This bike has a lot going for it, especially for urban commuters or those looking for a portable e-bike, but there are a few quirks to be aware of. Below, I’ll break down the pros, cons, and overall impressions to help you decide if this is the right e-bike for you. Why I Chose This Bike Living in a small apartment in a busy city, I needed a bike that could fold for easy storage and still handle daily commutes to work (about 10 miles round trip). I was drawn to the DTTZH because of its 750W motor (1000W peak), promised 60-mile range in pedal-assist mode, and UL 2849 certification for safety. At around $300-400 (depending on discounts), it seemed like a solid deal compared to pricier e-bikes like Lectric or Aventon. I also liked the idea of a 14" folding bike for portability and the inclusion of features like a removable battery and dual disc brakes. Assembly and Build Quality The bike arrived in about 5 days via FedEx, well-packaged with minimal assembly required. The instructions were clear, and it took me about 10 minutes to put together with basic tools (included in the box). The frame feels sturdy for a folding bike, though it’s not as premium as higher-end models. At around 50-55 pounds, it’s manageable to carry when folded, but not as lightweight as I’d hoped for a 14" bike—don’t expect to lug it up multiple flights of stairs easily. The components, like the shifters and brakes, are functional but feel budget-oriented. The dual disc brakes (non-hydraulic) work well for stopping at moderate speeds, but I did notice they require more force when braking at higher speeds (more on that later). The 14" tires are decently grippy, and the included fenders are a nice touch for keeping mud off during wet commutes. The folding mechanism is smooth and intuitive, locking securely when unfolded, which gave me confidence on rides. Performance and Ride Experience The 750W motor (1000W peak) is a standout feature. It’s punchy enough to handle moderate hills with ease, and the throttle is great for quick bursts when you don’t feel like pedaling. The bike is rated for a top speed of 28 MPH, which I found accurate in pedal-assist mode. though it feels closer to 25 MPH with my 180-pound frame. The pedal-assist system is responsive, The LCD display is clear and shows speed, battery level, distance, and PAS level, making it easy to monitor while riding. One downside is that the assist can feel a bit jerky when starting from a dead stop, especially in PAS mode—there’s no torque sensor, so the power delivery isn’t as smooth as pricier e-bikes. The ride is comfortable for a folding bike, thanks to the adjustable handlebars and seat. The seat itself is decently padded but not plush; I might upgrade it for longer rides. The 14" tires handle pavement well, but they’re not ideal for rough trails or gravel—stick to urban environments or smooth paths for the best experience. Battery Life and Range The 48V 15Ah removable battery is a highlight. DTTZH claims a 60-mile range in PAS mode, which I found optimistic but achievable under ideal conditions (flat terrain). In my real-world tests, I got about 40-45 miles on PAS, which is still impressive for a bike in this price range. Using the throttle exclusively cuts the range down to about 20-25 miles, which aligns with what I’ve read about similar e-bikes. Charging takes about 6-8 hours, and I appreciate the ability to remove the battery for indoor charging. One note: always follow the manufacturer’s charging instructions and use the provided charger to avoid battery issues. The UL 2849 certification gives me peace of mind regarding safety, especially after reading about e-bike battery fire risks. Braking and Safety The dual disc brakes are adequate for city riding but not exceptional. They stop the bike reliably at speeds up to 20 MPH, but when I pushed the bike to 25+ MPH (especially downhill), the brakes felt less confident, requiring a firm grip. If you plan to ride at higher speeds regularly, you might want a bike with hydraulic brakes for better stopping power. The included headlight is bright enough for nighttime visibility, but I added a cheap LED taillight for extra safety. The bike also comes with fenders, which are great for keeping your clothes clean in light rain. Portability and Storage The folding feature is a game-changer for me. The bike folds down to a compact size (roughly 35" x 20" x 26"), fitting easily in my apartment closet or the trunk of my car. The folding process takes about 10 seconds once you get the hang of it. However, at 50+ pounds, it’s not as portable as smaller folding e-bikes like the Lectric XP Lite. If you need to carry it often, consider your strength and whether you’ll need to navigate stairs. Pros Powerful Motor: The 750W motor (1000W peak) handles hills and quick commutes well. Good Range: 40-45 miles in real-world PAS mode is great for the price. Compact Design: Folds easily for storage or transport. UL 2849 Certified: Added safety for the battery and electrical system. Value for Money: At $300-400, it’s a solid deal for a folding e-bike with these specs. Included Features: Fenders, headlight, and adjustable stem are nice additions. Cons Budget Components: Shifters and brakes feel cheap and may need maintenance. Braking at High Speeds: Non-hydraulic disc brakes struggle at 25+ MPH. Weight: At 50+ pounds, it’s not the lightest folding e-bike. Jerky PAS: No torque sensor means the pedal assist can feel abrupt. Limited Off-Road Capability: The 14" tires are best for pavement, not trails. 750w motor instead of 1000w for future proofing upgrades. Comparison to Other E-Bikes Compared to the Lectric XP 4.0 (a pricier folding e-bike), the DTTZH is a bit less refined but offers similar power and range for a lower price. The Lectric has a smoother PAS system and better build quality, but you’re paying $1000+. If you’re on a tight budget, the DTTZH is a great alternative. Against non-folding e-bikes like the Funhang 1000W, the DTTZH’s portability is a big advantage, though it sacrifices some stability due to the smaller wheels. Who Should Buy This Bike? This e-bike is ideal for urban commuters or casual riders who need a compact, affordable option for daily rides up to 10-20 miles. It’s great for those with limited storage space or who want to take their bike on public transit or in a car. If you’re an avid cyclist looking for a premium ride or plan to tackle rough trails, you might want to invest in a higher-end model with hydraulic brakes and better components. Final Thoughts The DTTZH Peak 1000W Folding Electric Bike is a solid choice for budget-conscious buyers who want a powerful, portable e-bike for city commuting. It’s not perfect—the brakes and components reflect the lower price point—but it delivers impressive performance and range for the cost. I’ve been enjoying my rides, and it’s made my commute faster and more fun. Just be mindful of its limitations at higher speeds and on rough terrain. If you’re looking for a practical, value-packed folding e-bike, this one’s worth considering. ... show more

  • Could be better, but not all bad.
Color: 14" 1000W 15Ah - Black
Getting this at first, it was a blast. As my first EBike it was nice. Until everything caught up to it. Things were bent, including parts of the frame, for whatever reason my hub wheel wobbles when it spins. Rotors are bent, so there’s drag in the wheel decreasing the top end. The tires advertise as “anti puncture proof,” it’s not true. Get a new set as soon as you can. The problem is, the stats are based on using those light stock tires, so actual decent tires will slow this thing down by 5+ mph. Although, the power is actually extremely good for what it is. It does indeed reach 28 mph, in some cases I was able to get it up to 33mph keeping up with traffic (with stock tires). My only other problem: the rear seat and pegs they provide are meaningless, would’ve been much more better with a regular rack with a metal plate to attach baskets, to have storage and also have coverage for the controller from the outside elements. Other than that, the seat is decent, but it’s the generic seat every one starts with, I suggest switching it out. The comfort on rides even with the stock seat is decent. The better tires I put on the bike only made the ride quality better. I’m 6’4”, so I’m a tall guy. I do “fit” on this bike, but I cannot pedal due to my knees hitting the accessories on the bar. I’d say if you’re 6” or below, you should be perfectly fine. The keys and key fob work excellently. I also ripped it around at night and it lasted for about 2 hours on full electric mode. Biggest plus to Dttzh because this bike has a full twist throttle, HALLELUJAH. Single piston brakes though, they do their job for the most part. The bike is exceptionally quiet. ... show more
