I'm impressed with this bracket, honestly it's more well-engineered than I expected. It folks down nice and compact, opens easily, and the lockup is satisfying and sturdy. It has ARCA-Swiss rails, a cold-shoe mount, and plenty of threaded holes for accessories. I saw a review stating that the slot was too small for the screw; it's meant to be, so that the screw doesn't fall out. There is a widened part at the end of the slot, this is a threaded hole for the screw to go into and once it's screwed in, the mounting screw remains captive so you don't lose it.

The L bracket is very well made. It has a lot of attachment points. The folding mechanism works well. My only complaint is that when the L bracket is extended, the two sides are not quite square. When changing the camera from horizontal to vertical orientation, or vice versa, you have to adjust the tripod head to bring the camera back to level. Although the folding feature is convenient because it saves a lot of space, I am not sure if I would have bought it if I had known that the bracket was not square.

Nicely made unit. Sturdily constructed, and easily stored. It's a good addition to my camera bag. My only recommendation would be to add a mounting screw with a 4mm hex socket rather than just the slotted screw with a bail loop.

This "Foldable DSLR Camera L Bracket" is simply a delight. That's not something I often say about camera accessories but both the design and the manufacture of this bracket are way beyond what I have seen in so many other L brackets available at this price point. Design wise you can immediately see the amount of thought that went into this bracket. It's made from lightweight but very sturdy aviation aluminum and incorporates a plethora of useful features. It folds into a compact format utilizing an easy to operate button switch. The top of the short leg includes a cold shoe mount for the attachment of other accessories such as lights, microphones, etc. Both legs include stop pegs so to prevent over-sliding the bracket along its arca-swiss railings. At the center of the short leg there is provision for adding a QD Sling swivel and both legs have multiple 1/4" threaded holes for mounting even more accessories. Finally, the long leg includes 2 non-slip pads to insure a tight hold of the camera mounted to the sliding screw mount. All in all I am quite impressed with this L bracket and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a model that is lightweight yet sturdy and which provides so many accessory mounting provisions. This, in my estimation, is a strong 5 star product which should be high, if not at the top, of your comparison list if you are in the market for a new L bracket. This is a quality product through and through. No cheap stuff here. However, its use is sort of limited. You can attache perhaps 1 item to it. And also put your camera in a vertical mode on the tripod. But other than that, is it worth getting it? It would depend on the individual need if you need those options.

This thing is well assembled and sturdy, but it's not as universal as one would hope. Be mindful of your camera's strap loops, as there's a good chance that they'll interfere with this. It's a really nice upgrade if it fits.

So I like the heavy quality of the base and the snap side however s few things, the groove for yhe mount screw is way to small. Very hard to screw tight. The dide block is also small so rail basing is limited.

I'm impressed with this L bracket. Fairly on the large size (not a ding) and fit my Sony mirrorless flawlessly. There are arca grooves built into each part of the bracket...one less plate to attach...nice. The arca groove on the horizontal bracket is pretty long, giving you adjustability. I don't know how much strain is placed upon an L bracket, but the mechanism for folding the bracket is overbuilt. It's not ever going to be a weak point. Lots of attachment points underneath, but for me the cherry on top is the QD attachment on the vertical bracket, which is where it would hang off your strap if attached. They have thought of just about everything with this L bracket...even for travel. I have much more expensive L brackets, but none can fold up like this little gem. Best packable L bracket I have seen. Well worth the coin here...enjoy!
