I'm a bit disappointed with this Foldable Business Video Conference Lighting Webcam Light because I thought I was getting a tripod with this set. NO SUCH LUCK!! Even the pictures & the video show it being used with a tripod which I come to find out is an option. Overall, I'm only mildly impressed with the design and the lighting output of this webcam light. The design is made in such a manner that you can easily mount it on top of your monitor, to provide you with overhead lighting or you can set it to show lighting from either side with a stand or your own tripod. This light comes with 3 different settings, warm light, white light, & warm & white light, which are all adjustable. The light is made of plastic so be careful when using it. I might have given this light webcam a 5- star rating but I'm reducing it to 4-stars because it was somewhat misleading, how it was advertised.

Things I like about it. It’s small, portable and rechargeable. Ideal for sitting ontop of a laptop screen during video conferencing to even out the lighting. It will not however produce influencer-grade lighting in most environments. The light panel is bright but casts a narrow light so it won’t light up your whole face light a ring light would unless you have a truly tiny head and you’re up really close to it. IMO it works best as a down light using the integrated tripod mount, I think it does a little better job of illuminating the whole scene in that configuration

I am impressed with both the design and output of this light. Operation is pretty simple. You can probably figure it out without reading the manual. And the design is such that you can easily mount it atop your monitor to provide head-on lighting or use the adjustable stand to add additional lighting from below or the side. Beyond helping light webcam use, this is also a handy little light for small-scale photography. Beyond the good design, the ability to adjust the temperature of the light makes this even better. I haven't found the exact color temperature values listed, but their definition as White Light, Warm Light, and Warm & White Light is close enough. Really, the only negative I have is the lack of a tripod. While apparently it is an option, based on several pictures in the listing and the two videos, I had the impression it was included. It's not a deal breaker, and I have others I can use, but it was a bit misleading, particurally since the "with tripod" version isn't mentioned.

I own a half dozen similar small webcam lights and I can say, this is my favorite for several reasons. First, it is able to stand up on its own because of the clever hinged design on the back - and that same hinge design also allows it to perch on top of your monitor or laptop without blocking the camera on your computer. Another nice thing is the size and softness of the light when used close to your subject. The 5" wide screen provides a softer light than the smaller video conferencing lights commonly available. That wider screen plus the effective diffuser on the front of the light totally diffuses the LEDs into one evenly lit panel from edge to edge. On other lights you can see each individual LED behind the diffuser which doesn't create as soft a light source. The light is all plastic so don't drop it but it's well made and should last a long time if I treat it with respect.

Wow, this was quite a bit better than I expected because I have tried several lights like this and most never seem to really make much difference, but this one puts out enough light to really bring my zoom meetings up a notch. I got several comments from people how much better my camera looked and asked if I got a new camera. Nice! How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean: 1 STAR - Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could. 2 STAR - It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again. 3 STAR - It does what it was designed to do, but there's nothing really special about it. It's acceptable but not great. 4 STAR - I am very comfortable recommending it to a friend because it is is well made, durable, and delivers on its advertised features, and I would buy it again. 5 STAR - I really love it. The item exceeds my expectations of quality, durability and functionality. Not only would I purchase it again, but I would also actively encourage friends and family to do the same. All of my reviews are my own personal opinion and are completely honest no matter if I receive an item for free or I pay for it. I am an avid Amazon shopper, as well as an Amazon Vine Voice and I personally rely on reading reviews to make all of my buying decisions, so I understand the importance of honest reviews from my peers.
