It was a little hard but was comfortable enough after I doubled up a comforter and set it atop. Chose this instead of an air mattress as I needed to get it into my luggage for the move. I needed something to sleep on within days of our trip, great quality and I SUPER APPRECIATE the ease of blowing up the manual pump (be sure to close the valve on the underneath, i learned the hard way) and having 5in thickness. I haven't used this set, I've only set it up, so I will come back to finish the review after I use it. On first impression, it was a lot bigger than I anticipated, which is great because I got this for comfort, not space. I am only using it for myself and its about the same size as my queen bed. I'm almost 200 lbs and I have had problems in the past, of my hip eventually touching the ground. This was not a problem at all. Inflation process takes about 5 minutes (works best with a shoe on) and the valves feel very sealed when closed. Deflation took less than one minute. I'm very excited to use this and will be posting towards the end of June, about it's performance in the field!

Fantastic camping air beds! No pump needed! Takes a minute to figure out a good rhythm on the foot pump to pump adequate amounts of air. Once you get it going, it fills very quickly. Did not lose any air throughout the night. Cannot feel the ground at all! Does make some noise when moving around on it. These are a great alternative to traditional blow up beds. They also pack and roll very small, and are easy to transport!

Just 10/10. As a camper with small kids I need something fast to inflate but also durable. It checks all the boxes. If you’re up in the air between a few different camping mattresses, just buy this one. It was comfortable, no batteries, and is so compact.

Could be a bit cozier but could be worse for sure! Love its compact size and thats it's easy and quick to inflate and deflate although it is a bit loud to pump up. Nothing like a motorized pump but does make some noise.
