It appears it took a serious drop during shipping to damage the box AND break the plastic of the hoverboard while in the original foam packed box. Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Hoverboard works great for my 7 year old. I have had an adult on it as well. We can play music through the speakers. The lights on the hoverboard are really cool and bright. Exactly what my 7 year old wants to show off and act like he’s the coolest kid. The hoverboard does not let you go over a certain speed which I appreciate. My 5 year old daughter has never been on a hoverboard but was able to ride this around (with assistance). She’s very cautious and would have been able to do it alone if she wasn’t too afraid of falling. I also live on a packed sand road. It is driven on the road, through short grass, concrete, tile floor, area rugs, and into garages. The only complaint so far is the battery life. I feel like it could be way better. My son can ride it maybe an hour tops before it sounds that we need to charge the battery. Definitely worth spending the little amount of money. I looked at A LOT and felt this one was the best bet for a child who isn’t exactly the easiest with his toys. It’s taken a beating so far and is still working. ... show more

Got this for my son for Christmas thinking it would be an awesome gift but it really isn’t that great. It’s great but kinda not safe. You can’t adjust the speed and it’s really fast. We had a hover board of a different brand but we bought this because it was cheaper. It was really hard to use and it’s very sensitive to balance. It’s also different from our other hover board. To move forward you lean backwards and vice verse. The Bluetooth speakers are awesome and the lights too but it’s not that safe. I hope they come up with another version where you can adjust the speed from an app on your phone like the other one we had. ... show more

Very fun. Purchased for my daughter. Not any injury one yet and she is injury prone at 12 years old. I haves played on it too. I’m 47, 6’, 200 lbs. no issues. I love to answer the door on it. Pizza delivery guys/gals think it’s a hoot.

My daughter love it. I think it was very much worth the money, I personally love the color and the Bluetooth feature. My daughter connects it to her Iphone and rolls around the house. I was a bit nervous because my daughter had never been on a hoverboard before but let me tell you If that is one of your concerns do not stress my four year old rides it, not standing because she cannot balance it but on her knees and just leans which way she wants to go. kids learn fast. I got it for her as a birthday present on her 8th birthday. Literally the next morning after her birthday, I came downstairs and she was doing spins on It and ridding all around the house. as for battery life I really can't say because it's been so cold we have not been outside with it. ... show more

Works well so far. Purchased as a birthday present for my daughter. Only issue I found is that the weight limit was changed in the user manual from 120kg(264 lbs) down to 70kg(154 lbs). Bought this for my daughter's birthday, and she LOVED it. But, after a week, the gyroscopes stopped working correctly, and the board had a tilt to it that could not be corrected. Couldn't return it as the required warranty card had never been included in the box to begin with. You take a gamble with an inexpensive hoverboard like this. If it works, you did well. But your might just give out after only a week of gentle use. ... show more

Compared to a previous hover board we had The speed limit is low and beeps when ridden "too fast." The battery lasts about an hour. It shouts "BLUETOOTH" every time you turn it on (i wish we had opted for the bluetooth-free verison for this reason).
