A lot of us wear tactical-style vests carrying some of our equipment. After trying many different vests, it turns out this one that is less than 30$ was the perfect one. It's fairly low profile, nothing gets snagged or tangles on its pockets, plenty of room for storage, but it's not overly bulky. It's very thin and breathable. Pretty well made especially for the price. I can carry everything I need for a day hike and a few things that could be critical if things go bad. The mesh is doubled up that makes it stronger but a little less breathable than a single layer but I definitely prefer the ability to load this vest up and not worry about it failing. Also excellent coverage for concealed carry, even a G17 in an OWB Kedex holster is well covered. Now the ONE problem, these things run SMALL, I needed to go up a size and itโ€™s still a bit snug over a sweatshirt. Size accordingly ... show more

    • This is my go to vest for taking the dog to the park.

While this is advertised as a fishing vest, I use it to take the dog to the park. Car keys and phone go in zippered pockets. A roll of poop bags goes in an upper pocket and a bag of training treats in a lower. It's perfect for warm weather.

Nice, not hot, but barely fits when it should be loose. I think manufacturers don't know how fat we Americans can be! I am between an XL and 2XL, so I ordered the 2XL. I am deciding whether to keep it or exchange it for a larger size even though it should be plenty loose.
