I bought this vest strictly because it had so many pockets that zip shut or Velcro shut. There are five pockets that are closable on each side of the front of the vest on the outside. It also has a deep pocket for your hand on each side. There are two zip pockets on each side of the inside of the vest. The pockets range in size so that you can carry almost anything in them. I have carried my iPad and two or three bottles of pop to move from one jobsite to another. It is unbelievable how sturdy everything is and all of this for such a low price. I bought my first vest two months ago and have been using it daily ever since and have washed it several times. After having the first one for only one day I was so impressed that I bought two more. I use the vest in work situations and it has not let me down once. The zippers seem to be holding up fine as well as the Velcro. I keep waiting for it to fall apart because it was such a reasonable price but, everything seems to be holding up good even though I’ve washed it three or four times already. I bought a similar vest from that pocket vest company and it was a much lighter weight and was like $75.

The Good: Purchased for a safari and adventure travel The pockets are the right size and are in the right places. The mesh is breathable and does not rustle. The tan color is neutral and does not disturb the birds. I'm 5' 10", and the length is good. The fit is comfortable but not floppy, and the arm holes accommodate a light jacket. The Bad: The front zipper is cheap. The tab is plastic, and it pulled out of the zipper the first time. I fixed it, and it has been okay since then, but I can see the zipper is the weak point. Because it's a vest, when the zipper breaks you can wriggle out of the vest and then work to get the zipper back on track. The front has a snap which you could use if the zipper breaks while you are hiking.

Got this for my husband so he can carry his phone, wallet, tissues etc. It seems to be well made and will hold plenty more than he usually needs to carry. it would be perfect for travel. I will update later if it doesn't hold up well.

One of the inside zippers just fell off, stitching at bottom of front zipper pulled loose. I can deal with the inside zipper breaking but thankfully a neighbor lady offered to sew the front back up and reinforce it. Plastic zipper teeth pull apart easily, but over all it is functional. Considering the cheap price, I suppose you get what you pay for. It is functional.
