I'm loving the brightness of this flush mount LED light! We replaced our old incandescent double light bulb fixture with this new flush mount after replacing flooring in our hallway and noticing how dim the old light really was. This LED flush mount light was easy to install. It's the 7th LED flush mount light I have installed in our house for better energy efficiency and also went in the easiest. It has a metal chain with a ball that goes into a slot in the mounting ring to hold the light fixture in place while you make the wiring connections. This makes it easy for one person to install alone. I like that it comes with a green ground wire. Even though it's a plastic fixture that probably doesn't require the ground. It's a nice touch. It only took about 10 to 15 minutes to install, which includes the time I spent removing the old light. The white trim and low profile matches our nearby recessed lights. I like that it doesn't take up vertical space in the hallway and has more of a skylight effect. This light is easily 4 or 5 times brighter than the old fixture, yet it uses less power. These are quite thin, but the plastic doesn't feel very robust compared to others I have gotten. As with most of these there is a metal safety wire to prevent it from falling and tugging on the wires. Usually these attach to the mounting bracket but this mounting bracket has no position for this to mount to. So i am wondering where it is supposed to attach to or it was just an oversight. ... show more

We're currently renovating our spare bedroom, and wanted something sleek & low profile. I was a little worried about going with an LED, as we have one light in our basement that "glows" due to the lack of great ground in our old wiring. This fixture does not have that problem. I wired it up & it was quick, painless, and doesn't have the dim glow the other fixture does. This is simple to screw the base to your ceiling box & then you twist the light in like you would a smoke detector. The wiring was sheathed a little closer to the end than I liked, but a quick strip with the wire strippers, and it was good to go! Pick these up if you need an overhead light that is slim & want to be able to adjust the color temperature based on your room. ... show more

I got these lights to replace my old dome-shaped hallway lights -- those tacky 90s staples that are in every house. I was planning on painting the frames black, but ultimately left them white, and I'm glad I did. Once installed, they practically disappear! They're so thin and they blend in with the ceiling. When they're on, you get a very generous supply of bright light. You can select 5 different color temperatures. The bright white settings are VERY bright and VERY stark. If you're lighting an operating theater, they're perfect. I ended up setting them to the warmest setting, which is much more palatable for a hallway light. Installation was a snap - screw in the support plate, connect the wires, slot the light into the plate. It took maybe 5 minutes. They're so light that it's not hard to hold them up and wire them--truly a one-person job. I'm super happy with these! No more boob lights! ... show more

this light is really bright and it is nice to choose the light temperature with the flick of a switch, the installation however is made very difficult because the bracket has a small hole in the middle to feed the wires through and there is no space between the light and the bracket. make sure the box you are mounting from has ample space for the wires. ... show more

These fixtures provide a soft warm light to daylight brightness. Our old ceiling light was dimmable but only had one color temperature and not bright enough. These 12” lights are bigger, so no need to touch up the ceiling paint either 🙌🏼! These lights have a convenient hook that allows you to partially install it and adjust the light temperature before fully attaching flush to the ceiling. Installation should be easy since we’re replacing an existing fixture and it comes with the necessary hardware. Since i don't have a dimmer switch, I can still change the brightness by the selection switch in the light assembly. Very easy to install, and it is bright.
