They can be a bit pricey for use for an aquarium. But they are worth it. Being that they are tumbled. They are smooth all the way around. This makes it ideal for a Betta tank, because they don't have any sharp pointed edges that a betta could rip its fins on. I have 4 lbs of the Amethyst in a 2.5 gallon, and 3 lbs of Rose Quartz in a taller 3 gallon aquarium. I guarantee if you buy these for the purpose of an aquarium. You will not be disappointed. Photos both wet and dry, very pretty. Bought for fish tank, ended up ordering 3 more because 1 lb is not enough. I guess the point is I actually like them enough to buy 3 more packs.

I love the rocks, I have a 6 gal tank and I first ordered 2 bags. Didn't even cover the bottom of the aquarium. So I bought 2 more. If you like the gravel, order 4 times what they say. The bottom of my round aquarium is 11.5 inches. I will have to buy 2 more bags to get to the proper level. This is 6 bags. If you like it, order lots of it. ... show more

These are NOT beads, they are chips! BEWARE if you are using them to make jewelry. I didn't read that very well but was able to use them for other crafts. Good pieces with little-no unpolished bits... nice and smooth! I ordered a few types and they were all of the same quality. Would recommend!
