  • Best toothpaste so far
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This toothpaste has a very mellow flavor and has fluoride in it, which I wanted for cavity protection. The main thing that is great about this as opposed to the big brands is that you can brush and it doesn't sting your mouth for the next 35 minutes. You can drink cold water or eat an orange within a few minutes. I don't think all that stuff they put in standard toothpastes is really good for me, so this seems like a great alternative. The bottle is a little weird in that it dispenses through a large opening, but that's really a non-issue as far as the toothpaste goes. ... show more

  • Great for sensitive teeth
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I was looking for a fluoride, ADA-recommended toothpaste for sensitive teeth, that was a couple of dollars less than competing, name-brands. This was it! Am very satisfied with this product. It has a fresh, clean taste. Note that the toothpaste is not as thick as off-the-shelf brands--takes some getting used to. I would purchase it again. ... show more

  • "Aloe supposed to be good for the gums"...
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
UPDATE: I had my follow-up 6 month appointment with my new dentist and my pockets are all 2MM or 3MM (normal), my gums and teeth look healthy and they took x-rays which were good. So, after having a deep cleaning and "throwing the kitchen sink" at my gum/tooth issues, I am now out of the woods. The hygienist and dentist told me to keep doing what I am doing. :) THE BACKSTORY: I "may" not be the king of body inflammation but with grade 3 OA of the knees, GERD for 18 plus years and a gum issues diagnosis last year I am surely not the poster boy for "low inflammation candidate of the year". That being said I have read a lot about anti-inflammatory diets, supplements, creams etc. When I saw or sent my case file on "gum issues" to 3 periodontists and 2 dentists and there was a clear difference in opinions, I decided to say "shine it" and take matters into my own hands. The reason being is that I had no clear symptoms indicating I had periodontitis, everyone had very different pocket depth numbers and some said "maybe" gingivitis and others said "moderate periodontitis". This scared me like nobody's business so I read on how to fight gingivitis or periodontitis on any reputable dentist or periodontist's website and I took thorough notes and I literally "threw the kitchen sink" at whatever was going on with my gums. I am no medical professional and I am not recommending this since everyone's health situation is different, but given the contradictory 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th opinions I was getting I felt it was the best choice for me. One of the things recommended on those sites was aloe toothpaste. Thus I added it to my dental regimen. NOTE: after "tossing the kitchen sink" at my issue and having root planing and scaling ("deep cleaning") I saw a new conservative dentist with high regards in my community and told him nothing about my prior diagnosis beyond that I had done root planing and scaling. In his office, my pockets depths were very good with only 1 or 2 areas that warranted monitoring and he says my gums look healthy and is trying out seeing me every 6 months since our 4 months check-up went so well. Our last step is to do x-rays in the beginning of 2023 but he is happy with my current dental health so we'll see then if I am fully out of the woods. The PRODUCT REVIEW: -- very minty taste and sniff (peppermint) -- texture out of tube is firm -- paste gets very loose in the mouth when brushing and you may end up resembling a drooling basset hound so keep your mouth closed as much as possible; I prefer pastes that are not this loose because I am not the best at keeping my mouth closed so I may drool on my shirt -- there is no mention of how much aloe is in this product and it is listed LAST on the ingredient list which "usually" means it is the least amount in the product -- I like that it has fluoride and should gently remove surface stains as well -- Another plus is that it has the ADA accepted stamp on it -- I like that it is a gentle product and like my Sensodyne it does appear to be gentle Time will tell, but it appears it may be a good option in the aloe toothpaste arena which seems to be a bit more limited. ... show more

  • Gentle & Eco-Friendly
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 2)
I've been a longtime user of whitening toothpaste and related products. Recently, I noticed some sensitivity in my teeth and gums, so was in search of a toothpaste that doesn't aggravate my condition. After trying out other organic products that were soup-ey in consistency, AloeSense has completely changed the game for me. It's soothing and gentle, and texture that feels like toothpaste. I've noticed a significant reduction in sensitivity since I started using AloeSense (likely the aloe vera), and that alone makes it worth every penny. Unlike some of the other toothpastes I tried, AloeSense leaves my mouth feeling truly clean without lingering residue or aftertaste. As someone committed to sustainable business practices, I appreciated that the team uses compostable packaging instead of wasteful carton. It's a small change, but it makes a big difference, and is something I feel good about supporting. I can't recommend AloeSense toothpaste more. For others who are transitioning from heavy whitening products, it's gentle, effective, and environmental friendly. ... show more

  • Not to strong and not too minty
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I like this toothpaste because it is not overly strong in flavor and doesn't burn my mouth and tongue too much like other brands do. I previously used Sensodyne Nourish toothpaste, but apparently the company quit making it. It has taken me a year to find something comparable (after trying many other brands, consulting my dentist, dental hygienist, etc. ). AloeSense Toothpaste is the one! It definitely is naturally soothing and the flavor is not too minty, it is just right in my estimation. The only negative for me is, it is a bit difficult to dispense the toothpaste from the tube because the paste is fairly thick and the tube design makes it harder to squeeze on to my toothbrush. ... show more

  • good quality
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
As an older person with sensitive gums, I loved the mild abrasion on tooth enamel and gums. What I truly loved about it was that this toothpaste did not create a mouth full of 'creamy froth' to spit out. Minty fresh taste was an added bonus. Totally recommend to anyone.

  • Naturally Soothing to my Gums
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Aloe Sense is gentle on my gums and keeps my teeth clean and healthy. Aloe Sence does not contain peroxide, artificial colors or harsh abrasive. It contains Aloe vera that is soothing.

  • Aloe "Non" Sense
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
The product description is false. I purchased it precisely because it claims to be "free from harsh abrasives." When it arrived, I read on the side of the tube that it contains "Hydrated silica." This substance is used as an abrasive, by definition, and almost version of every toothpaste on the market has it. Very disappointed in Aloe Sense and Optimal Healthcare Products, LLC. It's a ripoff. ... show more
