I bought two of these to put in planters that are on my balcony and for three years now have been pretty unproductive. In the day, they are subtle, do not look strange and the three zinnia spouts around them look nice. At night they highlight the flowers and make up for my lack of plentiful container gardens. The other night I passed a house that is fully landscaped and they had maybe 10 or 15 of these exact lights strategically placed within their foliage on the sidewalk side and they looked wonderful there. This was a single family 1900s and they fit in. my place is 1900 as well but I am just got a balcony so I would say that they are probably going work anywhere you think they might work. In the winter, I will probably bring them inside and put them in a house plant or even a pot with some nice rocks, because they are so aesthetically pleasing. part of me wants to buy a whole bunch of them and buy a bunch of pots and put some cool different kind of rocks in each of them and just have these around my house as ambient lighting... they just of course would have to have a source of light on them during the day Bonus: the solar panel folds up and that has saved them three times here in Denver from a little bit unusual hail activity. ... show more

I've seen these outside some nice houses so I bought a pair. They give off that off-white yellowish light and of course they're solar so low maintenance. In the picture the lights are mixed together to appear like you get more lights on a single unit. A single unit has I wanna say like 6 or 7. The lights are on these odd wire like rods. I bought 2. 1 has lights that bend down and the other ones lights are standing up still. I assume they'll bend down at some point just and fyi they're kinda weird lights. They feel solid though, not like sun damage will effect it any time some. It doesn't give off too much lights so if you're looking to lit a footpath they'd look cool barely lighting the path but if you want safey go with a brighter light. ... show more

These lights are so cute. They sway in the wind with my plants and their solar so you don’t have to do anything. I live in the north country of upstate New York where we have gotten up to 3 to 4 feet of snow. I leave these up year-round and I’ve had these for three years now they come on every night they go off every morning I can’t say enough good things about this. These are low quality but very pretty LED lights as accents to your home. Immediately one light didn't work when received. And within a couple of months the solar panels began to cloud over and we're not receiving full light or a full charge. Within 3 months, 3 of these stopped working. I don't think these things will last more than 3 to 6 months at best but if the price is right, it's a cool novelty item with a short term benefit. ----UPDATE----9/11/2024 Great customer service! The companies saw my problem and sent me replacement. I'm going to let these new lights run a while and provide an update later. ... show more

They look good and are very easy to accommodate however they don't last too long. Half of them stopped working after less than 6 months. At the beginning I was very happy with how they look but now that half of them stopped working the ones still working don't look so good in the garden.
