  • Worth it 👏
Style: Medium, 1/2" Size: 100 Count (Pack of 1)
I can definitely see how live crickets by mail could be hit or miss based on weather and shipping time but the 2 times I’ve had them arrive dead I sent the seller a message and they had new ones shipped out within 2 days! They are also a great size with a few varieties in size which is great if your like me and have multiple critters needing different size dinners They look healthy are a great value and were pretty easy to get out of the box into a tank! And they end up living way longer than chain store crickets! I will say I am not a fan of the metal tubes they have been shipping them in The boxes were nice and insulated and with temps having just dropped where I am when they come in the tubes like they have the last couple times the tube gets cold very fast Not sure why the switch but I miss the boxes I’m glad company will replace them but is is a little annoying when you’ve got a very grumpy frog who refuses anything but crickets and now you have to wait for a new batch I’ve also gotten a few tag along in mine but nothing harmful! Just Dermestidae beetles and larvae which are harmless to living flesh and actually great for keeping your cricket container clean! They eat the dead ones happily! I kinda wish I’d gotten a few stowaways sooner I kinda like them :) ... show more

  • Their crickets killed my 6-month-old fancy bearded dragon
Style: Small, 1/4" Size: 100 Count (Pack of 1)
The day before I received the crickets my dragon was running around very energetic and playful and very healthy. 2 Days after having eaten some of the crickets she died. The vets only explanation was it had to be the crickets. I emailed Flukers and they denied any accountability and even tried to lie and say that they are distributed by Amazon. NO Amazon warehouse has the accommodations to keep thousands of crickets. No refund or any compensation was offered at all. ... show more

  • Great Value
Style: Medium, 1/2" Size: 500 Count (Pack of 1)
I don't know how to write this review without sounding like it's a paid advertisement. I have no affiliation with Flukers. I honestly don't know the first thing about them, other than they also make cricket food that I've purchased in my local pet store. Now on with the review! Before trying Flukers, I ordered medium-banded crickets from several other companies based on price and delivery speed. I've been pretty disappointed with those orders. I've gotten wild variations on cricket sizes and I usually get what looks like half the amount I ordered. I've placed my last few orders with Flukers, and they have been the most consistent. They get to me relatively fast, about three business days (I'm in Atlanta), and they're packed well and mostly alive. I have no idea if there are 500 in the small box, and I could never count them. But, I'm happy with the amount. The big difference seems to be the way they're packed. They use egg crate material that's neatly layered in the box to keep the little guys and gals from getting tossed around like beads in a maraca. And, the price is great. If I got the same amount of crickets from my local pet store it would cost 10 times what I pay. Overall it's a great value and I plan to keep ordering from Flukers. I've received nothing in return for this honest review. So there. ... show more

  • Best and highest quality crickets you can get!
Style: Small, 1/4" Size: 100 Count (Pack of 1)
I’ve been buying flukers for YEARS…. The value you get ordering on Amazon you can’t beat. It’s wild cheap and ships directly to your door, mind blown. All crickets healthy and survived transit. Flukers customer service is really good and their new packaging is sleek and worked perfect. I put a lot of trust into whom I buy inspects for my prized reptiles, flukers is top quality! ... show more

  • Crickets were great, delivery was AWFULL!!
Style: Large, 3/4" Size: 100 Count (Pack of 1)
The crickets came in alive and healthy. However, my problem is with the delivery. Long story short, my fiance and I live in a camper on zoo property since he works there. In the delivery instructions I added the business hours, a phone # to call, and specific instructions on where to drop the crickets off. Sure the delivery came in 3 days early, but rather than call the number they decided that was too difficult and instead dropped them off at a nearby post office. Mind you, this post office closes at 5pm, which is when my fiance gets off work, so we can to go out of our way to pick them up during his break. Which caused his break time to exceed the 30min limit. Then when I go to leave a review on specifically the delivery, there's no "Leave Delivery Feedback" option like Amazon claims on their "Share Your Feedback" help page. Like I said, the crickets were perfect, maybe a tad small but otherwise works!! ... show more

  • Fast Alive and Healthy
Style: Medium, 1/2" Size: 500 Count (Pack of 1)
The media could not be loaded. Arrived 3 days early with minimal dead as expected South Florida weather but made up with what looks to be around 500 or close enough. Fed them carrots and cucubers which they go crazy for after a long transit. I keep mine in a dark 5 gal bucket with vermiculite on the bottom to absorb their natural stink and later add a small deli cup of moist soil to hopefully get them to lay some eggs so by the time my giant day geckos polish these off the second generation will be hatched and ready to go. I've had very good results buying crickets from this seller as they ship out of Louisiana. So not too long to get to south Florida. Haven't let me down yet. The only thing but wasn't their fault is I needed to lay the box screen side down for a bit before opening the box to let a bunch of those tiny crazy ants all come out. They prob made their way in there some where along the way. They are just a pain in the a** to get rid of out of my bioactive enclosure. Once a colony sets up shop it's hard to move them without killing everything else with them. Some times the only thing that will move them out is if a different species of ant moves in and kicks them out. It's easier to get rid of some of the larger sized ants then those tiny ones. ... show more

  • Dead on arrival
Style: Medium, 1/2" Size: 100 Count (Pack of 1)
Not one cricket was alive when they arrived. The mail carrier was disgusted with the smell which means they were dead for a while before they arrived. Had to throw them away immediately. Complete waste of money. No refund available.
