Finally put to rest that constant beeping reminder to replace our backup battery. The one before it was the smaller capacity battery. I decided to use the higher capacity Mighty Max Battery 12V 7Ah battery in case of a longer power outage. The smaller one only lasted a day during a longish power outage. I'm assuming the higher capacity should last close to 48 hours. Installation was a breeze. The toughest part was remembering where I kept the panel security key. Anyone can install their own backup battery in less than 5 minutes. This new battery fit right inside our security panel.
