    • 1 works perfectly, the other? No so much.
I used these 2 flappers for 2 separate toilets, both frequently running because the flapper wasn't sealing completely. 1 flapper replacement solved the running water issue. The 2nd flapper still allows water past. I have cleaned and wiped around the drain port multiple times, so iI can't say it's the product's failure, or another component of the toilet that isn't allowing the flapper to seat completely. The main thing that I liked about it, is that it works great, the 1st time and every time since!!! The soft design adds to the ease in which it closes properly every flush without making a adjustments at all!!! It works simply each and every time!!! That's exactly what I wanted, a reliable perfectly right valve!!! Who can ask for anything more than that? As far as longevity goes, it's difficult for me to say at this point, but I hope it lasts forever... ... show more

I replaced the flapper in three American standard toilets last week and all three are leaking. This is an inferior product don't waste your time and money.

This product I’m sure is a good product. But it didn’t work good enough for me.it probably solved my problem of a consistent running toilet for about 3 days. I have a American standard toilet. It seem like this flapper didn’t seal well. And my toilet would continue to run. I eventually brought a universal flapper made by American standard. And my problems went away ... show more
