I like this sprayer and use it frequently. At the beginning had some problems that turned out to be a manufacturing issue. When I first added water to the tank, the motor wouldn't turn on. Did what a lot of us guys do, looked on the internet for solutions and nothing worked. So contacted support and received a new motor, did not include directions. I installed the motor exactly the same way the original was wired with the red and black wires. Turned on the switch and it was dead. So looking into the guts of the wiring, having to use a bright light and magnifying glass and discovered the plus and negative wires were installed as reversed. Actually, the poles protruded through a rough black plastic piece and a plus and minus emblems were raised to indicate the poles (also black color) - needed a flashlight in order to understand which was which. Since the unit was again ruined, sent pictures and talked to support again and received a new motor - they had not seen this manufacturing problem so far. This time I recognized which poles were the plus and minus and the motor worked and has since been a great companion. I want to complement the support department as while this was being figured out I was not a happy customer and they knew it. Thanks again Support, you hung in there for me. ... show more

Hi folks....I want to take a minute and tell you about this company. I ordered this Cyclone 3 back in March because I heard how good they are. I never opened it and put it in my 5th Wheel because I needed it at our summer place. I didn't get the package opened until the first week in May (hence I was past the 30-day return for Amazon). So in case you don't know....this one doesn't come with a battery but it has several enclosed adapters like DeWalt, Milwaukee, etc., so that you can use one of your own. We put it together and installed the DeWalt battery adapter and the second I clicked it into place black smoke came billowing out. I hadn't even turned it on. It was obviously fried. I was livid because I missed the 30-day return window but called FlowZone anyway just knowing they would tell me "too bad". Boy, I couldn't have been more wrong! The gal apologized and said they wanted to make it right and would immediately send me out a new one....(without waiting for the return mind you!) Then she said she would make sure that someone installed the DeWalt adapter for me and would test it to make sure it worked! I was floored. THEN....She sent me a return label so I didn't have to pay shipping and the new one was shipped the very next morning! I received it and it works beautifully! So much better than I ever thought it would. I sprayed my brother's eaves in his log cabin and it was at least 20 feet high! Works like a dream! This is the best customer service l think I've ever seen. Truly! No one treats consumers like this nowadays! This is the best sprayer and best company! this backpack sprayer is absolutely awesome. No more having to pump up the sprayer! It is great. I got the no battery option because I have lots of Dewalt batteries. It only took about 5 minutes to change to the 20v DeWalt adapter and everything works perfect. Make sure to pay attention to the positive and negative wire placement on the adapters. There are markings on the adapters for the appropriate positive and negative. ... show more

This is a crazy good backpack sprayer. I use my Makita 5 amp hour batteries and it is almost comical how long they last. I haven't tried every sprayer ever made, but I would be shocked if anyone makes one with better straps. The padding and material quality are as premium as premium gets. The only thing that would make this thing better is if you could buy a 2nd tank and quick change them for when you are switching between herbicide and fertilizer. Rinsing and sterilizing is a huge time zapper ... show more

I have been doing pest control professionally since 1981, and this is the best sprayer I have ever put my hands on. I love that you can buy a hand trolley for it to make it easy to maneuver without putting it on your back, and you can add an extra 20 feet of hose. I don't like that it doesn't come with batteries or a charger, but I was able to get an aftermarket charger with two batteries for about $70 on Amazon. The sprayer puts out enough pressure to reach the gables, which can be quite high up, yet you can set it to a low pressure to treat around windows and doors. You can also buy extensions for the wand, so that you can reach all sorts of high places. Overall, just a really outstanding sprayer. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I guess you get what you pay for. ... show more

Flowzones are a piece of junk. I had one for 1 1/2 years and the circuit board and pump went out for no apparent reason after 18 months. I used a $250 sprayer exactly 4 times before Flowzone asked me to buy a new circuit board and/or pump (as they thought it could be either piece) since the warranty is only 1 year. Then they directed me to their troubleshooting page where there are videos on how to change the circuit board and how to change the pump! So it's obviously a known issue for these junky sprayers. They are not built for long-term use. My advice - buy something else as this is going to be a one season sprayer. ... show more
