Works and softer on bare feet over METAL transitions.

SOFTER on bare feet than those metal transitions & makes hard wheels on things like Knee scooters and rollators and carts less of a jolt to roll over, easier to. For a transition to carpet: brush back the nap with a old brush; clean surface of transition to be stuck to, then lay in the edge against the carpet to get back under it a bit more, peal and stick with care it is straight as can be. The Screw heads or nails need to be driven in and will still barely be visible bumps in the soft vinyl , if putting over a existing metal transition strip. I needed another two foot, always order more than you need in case you measured wrong, extra 3feet will find a place to use. Most will be pleased with the results I suspect unless attempting to cover too wide a gap?

Drafty door inside storm door. Storm door was always iced up in winter. This strip matched floor about 80%, stayed stuck and now the storm door is cleared of frost. Door is used every hour, looks as good as day I installed the strip.

Can’t tell if user error or bad adhesive

It literally was an easy peel and stick. The intention was to build a transition between kitchen doorway and living area. Cleaned off area,laid strip down, even used a rolling tool over the strip to get better adhesion. Now it was good for a bout 2 weeks until i started hearing a tiny popping when i walked over the strip. There was definitely air bubbles, as i called them, perhaps i didn’t clean well enough but it was there. And over the next few days the sound got louder. It was due to the strip coming undone. The more we walked over it the more dust and debris we dragged around and into the areas pulling up. Maybe it was my installation, maybe not, this was just a no for me.

SUPER great strip. Does take up scuff marks but is generally easy to clean and has stayed in place since I laid it down with liquid nails. Looks high quality. We have kids and dogs and rolling things over it and it's great. Super good value for the money, I would but it again.
