The cat tower has a large height range, has a handy dandy instruction sheet that tells you what pieces to use and possible configurations depending on your ceiling height. I’d maybe plan out how you want to put the pieces together before you start. They recommend you have the lounging piece at the top, but my cat had a hard time getting up there, so I swapped the pieces around, but then figured out that I’d tightened some of the pieces too much and couldn’t get some of them undone. Thus my odd arrangement with the large gap between the two bottom placements. Turned out well since it’s easier to give them an on ramp on the floor and then have oddness of having the various platforms farther apart with my rather ceiling being on the upper height range. I think the cats are meant to climb with their claws to some of the platforms with their recommended arrangement if the ceiling is one of the higher ranges, but my cat is 3 and has the claw control of a kitten still, so he said no thanks to that. I did find the tree a tad wobbly at first, but I scooted it against the wall and really tightened the screws up top and now it’s as sturdy as advertised. I am in the process of adding the stick on adhesive backed carpet to the upper platforms just to make it a tad more grippy and safe, but the wood it comes with is solid and should be good enough. My cat got up and down safely without it. I’m just extra cautious! Overall, I’d recommend this. Lots of variability, a solid, high quality tower that allows for lots of customization to fit your cats and homes needs and tastes with some base guidance on the recommended set up. Oh and it comes with that cute monkey. It was a nice touch!

I never write reviews, but this cat tree is actually really great! I agonized over which cat tree to buy and read hundreds of reviews before buying this one - and I’m so happy I did! It’s exactly what I was looking for. It’s super sturdy and big enough for multiple adult cats. It arrived in 48 hours, it was well packaged and had great instructions (including specific instructions for different ceiling heights). It comes with everything you need including gloves to wear while you build it! It looks very nice in person, and it wasn’t terribly hard to put together. (I was able to do it by myself with a small step-stool). My cats took to it immediately and were able to climb up easily. We had a small lesson for learning to climb down but they got the hang of it in an hour. For reference my cats are 9lbs and 11lbs. It doesn’t budge while they’re both running and jumping all over it. My only concern would be about the plastic globe. I don’t think it would hold up well to cats much larger than mine. The wood seems really weak and will probably break eventually if both my cats were to put all their weight on it. I added some self adhesive carpet to the plain wood levels, reinforced the fabric hammock with two nails, and put a tiny heating pad up top. I think it’s perfect!

Wow, this is honestly really good quality! Not too hard to put together, I wish I'd gotten something ceiling height before, it's a whole different level than my old standard cat tree. Super sturdy even with three cats on, really cute and looks like intentional furniture. The hammock material is like a high-end fuzzy blanket material (and it comes with a mesh replacement hammock I guess for summer?). I thought the cats might not love the little wood "steps" since they're small but actually they seem to enjoy relaxing there with paws hanging off. Great product, would absolutely recommend to friends!

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I had to use wood glue during the process & it didn’t make sense why I was using wood glue on plastic, other than that 5 stars. It’s stable, my cats love it, even though only 1 would use it at first. I have it set up in my apartment & it doesn’t take up space like bulky cat towers & they still have their own space while not taking up too much space in my home. It’s a nice balance.

I needed a new cat tree since my old one was beyond repair, and this has been a great replacement. I really like that it doesn’t use a suspension-style rod, which makes it feel much more stable. The size is perfect for 9-foot ceilings, and it includes an extender if you need extra height. Installation was easy, the instructions were clear, and the video was a helpful reference that made setup even simpler. I also appreciate that it uses sisal instead of the flimsy fabric found on many other cat trees - my cats seem to prefer it as well. The real wood construction makes it feel solid, and I don’t worry about it collapsing. My 8-lb cat has clearly claimed it and uses every level, while my 14-lb cat prefers the lower two platforms. Either way, they’re happy, and I’m happy. Definitely worth the investment.

Second one I've bought, because we loved the first one so much. I love that you can customize the layout of it - very versatile. Our cats love it and it's helped so much with them clawing on the furniture. We've lived in two different places with different height ceilings and it's been perfect in both, and also on top of our cat litter enclosure to consolidate space. It's sturdy, easy to assemble, and the boards are thick.

We’ve had this floor to ceiling cat tree for a few months now and I can confirm, this is the best money can buy, especially if you live in an apartment! The main reason I bought this was because our cat loved to climb our fridge and we needed something to help distract him from doing so. Installation was a little confusing, just make sure you really pay attention to the directions and are placing the pieces in the exact spot you want them in. If your cats love to run around, this will be an added bonus because ours get crazy and run up this thing at max speed during this zoomies! It is a little loud when their claws get onto the main post of it but I’d rather that the our fridge. The quality, color and stability of it is great. With all the cats running and jumping we haven’t had any issues with it being wobbly. Their favorite part of the tree is the hammock, so much so that they do not care for the clear bowl. My only regret is not buying 2 hammocks. I thought they’d use the bowl but I think they’re afraid of it since it’s see through. An option with a covered bowl would have been better but it was worth a shot. They also love scratching this thing, be aware you may need to trim your cats claws even more after you have this. Overall a great tree and it has helped us with our cats obsession with the fridge. I think he wishes it was higher because on occasion he’ll run all the way to the very top and get frustrated it stops at the ceiling. This purchase also came with a feather toy on a stick, and when I tell you this is my girl cats FAVORITE toy on planet earth!!! She won’t play with anything else anymore! It came with extra feathers which we’ve already been through cause she loves it that much!

This is the third scratcher we've tried to try to save our sofa and finally I think we have a winner. We didn't want a super big ugly one and the kitties kept letting me know the ones I got were too small. We have a 17 lb boy and 11 lb girl and they were both up in it within a few minutes of it being in place (and "helping" while we were putting it together, too). It's sturdy, went together easily and came with lots of diagrams so you could measure your exact ceiling height and see which configuration to go with. Maybe it said and I didn't read, but it also came with gloves to install it and lots of kitty toys to entice your kitties to give it a chance. It's not too ugly (like the last one they rejected was). Plus seeing the kitty kicking back in the bowl makes you forget that there's a kitty pole in your living room - we were laughing and enjoying that so much! So cute!!! So far - overjoyed with this one! One suggestion is to put some toys in the bowl because both of our kitties couldn't seem to figure it out at first. Once they jumped up to get the treats and toys out of it, seemed to click. This morning the girl kitty took her time knocking all the toys out and then settled herself in for a nap. ~Update a year later: It's being used daily and holding up well. We just changed out the bottom pole because it was scratched to bits, but that's expected. Appreciated that we could change out only the part that needed it. Very happy with this one, even after all of this use.
