P.O.S. It came damaged the pin in the middle was gone and I finally found a pin to put it in . Then it doesn’t hold when I tried it . The suction and grip suck. It’s terrible .

I picked up this floor gap repair tool after noticing some annoying spaces opening up between the planks in my living room. It clamps down nicely on the boards with a solid grip, either directly if a smooth material or with a stick on adhesive, to hold everything in place while you work the gaps closed by striking it with a mallet. The suction cup part sticks firmly enough to give good leverage. I also liked having the slot cutter/cleaner to clean out the gap of any debris or trim for a perfect fit mading quick work of trimming a couple edges that needed adjustment. I found it works on vinyl stick on planks as well for fine tuning adjustments. Keep in mind that it requires a mallet or hammer to strike it and the adhesive sheet can be tough to remove from some surfaces, so only use it if the suction cup cannot vacuum seal to it. Overall it saved me from calling in a pro for what turned out to be a simple afternoon fix and my floors look much better now .

VERY leery of a tool to pull together a laminate flooring gap. Open package, cleaned floor and tried. Failed. Sllipped. Saw that my floor had minor indentations not allowing the suction area to grip. Cleaned again but this time I put a little weight on the device and used a rubber mallet. Pulled the gap from almost 5/8" to perfect no gap. Would recommend this product HIGHLY. Amazinf.
