Assembly was easy to follow, but it's definitely easier if you have another person to help. Ever since it's been set up and put together we've had no problems with sturdiness or noise. Everything came wrapped and protected, even though the box was torn up during shipping the exposed parts of the bed frame were in perfect condition. Instructions were phenomenal; pictures, diagrams, lettered parts, coherent text descriptions. I put everything together in under 2 hours by my 5'3 self. The only thing I will say is that the slats were covered in some sort of black mess and when I looked closer (I was trying to figure out if it was dirt or mold) I noticed some bugs crawling along the planks. These weren't planks that had been sitting outside or out in the open for a long period of time, this was straight out of the shrinkwrap in the box. I threw them outside in the trash immediately and I'm hoping they were some sort of harmless wood loving bugs and not something scary like bed bugs. I had a black box spring already on standby from my previous setup so I just tossed that on the frame and called it a day. As long as those bugs don't come back to bite me this was a 9/10 purchase overall.

This platform bed is great quality, we love the clean look, and was shipped very quickly. All at a reasonable price point. It arrived a few days sooner than the original estimate which worked out perfectly for our holiday guests. The metal legs on the side can be an issue as we stubbed our toes multiple times. See second picture. We purchased toe guard from Amazon and they do a great job at preventing painful stubs.
