So far, we absolutely love this bed frame, and my thirteen and a half year old daughter put it together,All by herself, so I would say it was fairly easy to put together. The lights on it are so cool! And it's a pretty stable bed as well. If you have hardwood floors like us, you can just put grips on the bottom of the legs or put it on a rug, Otherwise it slips around if you lean in it. ... show more

The Allen wrench they send doesn’t fit the screws, the headboard has a crease in the leather and a hole, and the screws strip like a hot knife through butter. It’s the cheapest quality I’ve ever seen in my life, the footboard at the bottom was missing the two t nuts and holes for the screws to go into so I used self tapping screws from Lowe’s. I don’t normally write reviews and feel compelled to share on this one. 1) delivery: less than 1 week and faster than original estimated shipping. Looks like rather than all the way from China they had it stocked in Chino, CA already. Can we thank tariffs for this one? Maybe so! 2) assembly: decent instructions. My recommendation, lay out all the pieces (labeled by letters). Be careful to ensure all brackets are installed facing direction of pic. I had to flip a few because it was a learning process. Easier if you assign your child as “parts manager” and have them help you with the included allen wrench. Very convenient. 3) app: they charge $35 for the light app, skip it and have your kid use the 2 switches (one for headboard lights and one for underneath bed). I presume velcro for lights may need reinforcing if they keep falling (tbd). 4) slats: if kids jump on the bed they look like they could break and then cause squeezing. My daughter loves her bed and said she slept amazing. Now how to get her out of bed? ... show more
