Good, but very difficult to unroll initially. Maybe if it was warmer it would be more flexible

    • Flexon 100 foot medium duty garden hose
Size: 100ft Style: 5/8
First, the hose that arrived at my home was a good looking buff/beige color -- not the green in th description picture. And I am pleased about that. This hose is easy to see amoung the greenery of my lawn and garden. Second, I am very pleased that this hose is light weight and easy to move around. I don't really water my front lawn area that much, so a super heavy duty hose did not make sense to me. Third, ths is a USA made hose. Fourth, it has a guard grip on the end you attach to the spigot that makes attaching it very easy and keeps it from kinking in this area. I could go on and on about this hose, but, you need to know that compared to the last hose that I purchase at Amazon -- which was a super heavy duty no kink one that is difficult for me to manuever (but that I love anyhow) -- this hose is more in-line with the kind that I need for my garden application. That it is easy to use given its length is really important to me. As someone who is 5'2" tall and does not have alot of upper body strength, I was looking for a hose that was light weight, but not light duty. This hose fits the bill. ... show more

    • Worked for six months until a giant hole emerged
Size: 100ft Style: 5/8
As other reviewers have said, this hose is a gray color not the green in the photo, which is fine. I purchased two and they both work(ed) pretty well. They did kink up a lot at first until I unrolled them all the way and left them like that for a few days while using them. So far so good though UPDATE 4/2/13: After using two of these hoses for six months (I'm in Florida, so we have been using them all winter) both have developed giant holes that have caused gushing water coming out. The holes look like they were created from the inside out from the pressure of the water (the hose itself is expanded and weak). I have put a picture up. Needless to say I'm out $75 on hoses now. I would not recommend purchasing these at all. ... show more

    • Looking for my Goldilocks hose and this isn’t it
Size: 100ft Style: 5/8
I had a heavy duty hose from the same manufacturer but went with a medium duty thinking it was lighter therefore easier to wind up. It is easier but the hose links and create a permanent fold that binds up when coiling and, already stress cracking where it kinks. It’s a hose, I’ll live but really more light duty than medium in my opinion ... show more

    • Great Value for 150ft!
Size: 150ft Style: 5/8
Product arrived and looked exactly like the picture. I bought this to run to my camper which is far from the nearest spigot. I do not understand the 1 star reviews saying that it kinks easily; it is a hose and nowhere in the description does it say it is kink proof! Just like any hose, if you pull it with a loop in it, it will kink, it has nothing to do with the quality of the hose. I do not plan to drive over it so I can't speak to those complaints, my advice is don't drive over it. I have it under pressure 24/7 and there are no issues. A 100ft hose at my local hardware store was $100 bucks, so this hose is a great value for the length. ... show more

    • Not as flexible as I would have hoped.
Size: 50ft Style: 5/8
Gets stiff in the winter and it makes it difficult to wind up. Don't know yet about the warmer weather, so hopefully heat make this problem better.

    • Only lasted 10 minutes before splitting
Size: 100ft Style: 5/8
Received order promptly and put the hose on my new hose reel. Started to water the lawn. 10 minutes later, my next-door neighbor rang my doorbell to inform me that the hose was spraying water everywhere! It looked as if the hose had formed a large (about 2") bubble and split. Notified Amazon for an immediate replacement. Pain to return the old one as I had to get a large box and transport it 10 miles to the nearest UPS facility, but understandable to show I wasn't lying about the damage. Have received replacement, but unable to use it for now due to heavy rains in our area. I hope this one works. ... show more
