The worktop features recessed storage bins and onboard hand tool racks integrated into its design for easy access to bits, screws, fasteners, and hand tools when you’re on the job. Size is perfect for the top of a box, it's easy to open or remove it if you need to get to a box below. Build quality, material thickness, and versatility is better than my packout. It is water resistant on top, but not waterproof like some one had a question if it was.

So far it's great. It has pockets for screws or small work products that get lost easy! Perfect height for me on the stacker. No more bending over to work on stuff. So far I've taken apart my rv water heater and I used the pockets for smaller items and screws. Very handy!

    • Its a sturdy work top, but wish some things were improved
I own Packout from Milwaukee so im going to compare this to that brand. First, this top seems to be more sturdy overall, and for me fits better on the crate. When on the top of a regular box, it feels very solid. The wood work top on this Flex model is higher quality marine grade type plywood and has a nice finish on it as compared to the competition. Where this falls short is the attachment of the wood to the plastic base. Its poor to say the least. Milwaukee uses countersunk holes and threaded bolts, while this uses wood screws that dont feel very secure overall. Additionally, because there are no bolts going through, its much, much harder to determine where one can drill holes for mounting from the top. I would suggest making a huge upgrade and installing bolts if you need to mount anything to this top. Also, before use, you may want to buy some good birch ply and use your router to create a template or worktop copies for future use. ... show more

Good sturdy item. Only complaint is the finish isn't all that great. Couple times of getting wet it starts to peel then warp.
