For the price it's actually pretty good. The torque is amazing and exactly what I need it for. The weight of it is heavier than your standard impact so keep that in mind. The battery last quite awhile and it charges super fast. THE HEAD OF THE IMPACT IS SUPPOSED TO ROCK BACK AND FORTH!!. I see a lot of reviews about the head of this impact rocking back and forth but it is made that way, it's the "anti kickback" feature it has.     • Tough to beat for the money.
It's good, not great. It's heavy so if you like curling while working in your shop, this is your tool. It's smooth, the charger and battery are very nice. The gun is easy on your wrists but not your forearm. Break away is on par with Snap-On. I tested it. Milwaukee will run laps around both of them.

Just used it a few times so far, but battery still has all 4 bars (charged it once i got it). Tool feels like it has plenty of torque and the battery indicator is a super bright green that's easy to see even in the brightest daylight. Only drawback would be if you aren't used to really heavy impacts this one is up there with Milwaukee but all high torque impacts that are decent will be heavy. ... show more

    • Insanely powerful
I work on cars and suvs most of the time. I have been using a dewalt impact for a few years now, and while it is fairly powerful, I find it not working for alot of situations. I got this to get that extra bit of torque and it is absolutely insane. So much more powerful than the dewalt. It is significantly larger than. The dewalt and heavier so I will only bust it out when needed but when I do, I am confident this thing will handle it. Tool is built amazingly well, with highest quality parts. The case and packaging is even superb. The tool itself has a little play in it, when I first felt it I thought it was defective. But it is designed this was as sort of a shock absorber and works really well. This tool is so powerful, I thought it would rip my hand off but the design definitely takes some of that torque out of your wrist and into where it's needed. The battery is very nice as well, I love the large leds that show the percentage and it charges really fast and lasts a long time. In a way I wish I wouldn't have gotten this because now I want to switch thousands of dollars of dewalt tools to flex brand so everything matches. I also have the Flex circular saw and it too is amazing. These power tools are designed very well and definitely top tier. I highly recommend switching to these if you are thinking about it! Will absolutely be buying more Flex tools! I'm sold! ... show more

This is the 2nd one I received as my replacement. I didn't even use it. I wanted to check if it has the same issue and here you go. The 1st one I received at least I was able to use once. Never buy this.

    • This thing is a brute!
I was actually in the middle of a fairly involved, heavy job on one of my vehicles, when this thing arrive. I had taken most of the front suspension and drivetrain apart the day before, using hand tools and my pneumatic impact wrench. Then this FLEX cordless impact showed up on my doorstep that evening so I used it on the re-assembly the next morning. Wow, this thing packs a punch! Yeah, it's heavier than my air impact due to the weight of the battery and motor, but it's so nice to not have to drag the hose around everywhere or hear that air compressor running. The battery lasted all day with fairly heavy use, plus for a few more small jobs over the following days before I finally put it back on the charger (not even sure if it needed it yet). My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that the little socket keeper ring on the driver head is a bit too tight, making it a bit of a struggle to get sockets on to it. Perhaps that will loosen up a bit with more use. ... show more
