This is a yes for me. I have thick wavy, and curly mixed hair type. Sometimes I don’t have enough time in the day to blow dry and straighten my hair at once, so finding a flat iron that will give me good results without the need to blow dry first is almost impossible. This flat iron gave me exceptional results every time I’ve used it. It’s been consistent. In my opinion I believe that if I get the chance to blow dry instead of air drying my hair, the results would be even more exceptional. It heats up to 450 degrees within what feels like seconds. I especially love that I can control the temperature with the simple click of a button. The size is just right. Not too large to get a good grip, but fits perfectly in my hand. It’s not too heavy either. I don’t find my arms tiring easily as with others I’ve had. Overall this flat iron did not disappoint. It is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this flat iron.

I usually don't use a straightener as my hair is fairly straight but as I get closer to my next cut, I am getting a lot of frizz. This straightener works great to control frizz. It heats up very quickly, much quicker than my fancy hot tools, which I replaced because it has a very annoying bright blue blinking light while plugged even when not in use. This just shows OFF on a small LED display. The plates are very smooth and it is a great size for my hair which is just below shoulder. I like the latch to keep it close when not in use.

This is a pretty good straightener, it heats up fast. It leaves a wavy look if I want to use it as a curler. It also straightened my hair pretty well. I like that this is 2 in 1, so it's easy to use for travel. I don't need to bring an extra curler or straightener. I like that there is a screen LCD showing what temperature you are. Overall this is good stuff with other accessories that came with it.

I like the size of this flat iron/curler. It heated quickly and seemed to hold its temperature well. It was lightweight and easy to hold. It straightened my hair well but it didn't curl my hair very well. I get better results from a curling iron but that could just be how MY hair does, whereas it might curl someone else's hair well.

I absolutely love this flat iron! It comes packaged so nicely and you get everything you need- it includes a pouch that doubles as a heat cover so you don’t have to leave a hot tool exposed while it cools down, a heat resistant glove to help you handle it without burning yourself if you are not so expert with an iron, and it has two hair clips, as well, which are handy to have. I love the swivel cord and that you can use this as a flat iron or to create big, soft curls! Heats up quick and easy to use, plus at this price point it’s a great value! Pushing my other flat irons/curling irons to the side and using this one from now on!

I gonna be honest, I've never curled my hair with a straightener before, so I was a bit awestruck - but I'm OBSESSED and I love love love this tool. It heats up super quickly, like in less than 2 minutes. There is a little lock button on the base to open and close it. You can adjust your heat, but I always just do the hottest setting anyway. It also comes with a glove, 2 clips and a cute pick storage bag.

This is an okay flat iron. It has a similar design to my wife's expensive flat iron, except hers is heat resistant metal. This is just plastic that won't melt immediately. Also, it takes 3x as long to get up to temp as a nicer one, but if you're just looking for a cheapo to take on trips and stuff, this is perfect!! Overall, I won't be using this often, but it's nice to have a back up!
