  • Perfect. Trivial to install on the printer.
It's trivial to install on both a Flashforge AD5M and AD5X, but there a bit of a challenge on the AD5X with the Flashforge case kit. The cable is very short and the holes needed to route the cable are covered by case parts. I finally got it together and it works great. I upgarded both an AD4M and an AD5X. ... show more

  • I Can See
Does Camera things! Good placement in the AD5M, could be a little better quality picture; but I'm not complaining

  • Decent camera
This camera gets the job done. It doesn't have the best picture quality or viewing angle but none the less it is very quiet. Also it is very easy to install and use that a kid could do it. It fits perfectly and is a little overpriced but it is great anyway.

  • Works great on none pro model
The older camera wires were too short to fit if you did the flash forge enclosure mod but this newer one fits great and the wires are perfect length. Picture quality isn’t the best but that’s fine I just want to check on prints that’s it and it does that perfectly.

  • Useful for Monitoring Prints, but Not Great for Timelapses
The media could not be loaded. Image quality is fine for what it is, but it could be better for the price. You are mostly paying for the convenience and compatibility. It is clear enough to see if a print is starting to go wrong, but it is not as sharp as some standalone cameras you could mount for the same purpose. Frame rate can be choppy at times. The bigger issue is consistency. Sometimes it records timelapses and sometimes it does not, so it feels unreliable in that area. Installation is simple. One screw and a plug into the back of the touch screen and it is ready to go. Day to day, it has been useful as a built in way to check on prints from another location. It is good enough to tell if I need to cancel something early, which is the main reason I got it. Just do not expect high quality timelapses or anything you would want to show off online. ... show more

  • Easy to install
Super easy to install. Took 2 minutes. Camera is okay.

  • Cool idea, but doesn't work.
If I could give it zero stars I would. I installed it in the pillar and plugged it in, followed the instructions to allow camera access on the touch pad. It will not connect via the app. Period. It fails every time. I've unplugged and replugged it in at least 10 times, waiting then trying to view it again. It will absolutely not connect. ... show more
