  • Most underrated PETG Filament (shhhh... Don't tell anyone)
Color: Natural Material Type: PETG Pro
By far the best PETG filament I have used. I've printed close to 100kg of Natural and some Black FlashForge PETG Pro and have not have any failures (knock on wood). It prints consistently, only ever had 1 roll (recently) with a small tangle, and best part is how moisture resistant it has been. I live in the southeast US where humidity is high, but had leftover rolls unsealed for months and zero issues printing. I also noticed my latest batch of rolls (early 2025) they have moved away from hooking the filament end into the spool and moved to holding it with a small piece of tape. Huge improvement and solves the only issue I have ever experienced. It's awesome, but don't tell anyone because the price is still somewhat reasonable. ;) ... show more

  • High Quality Filament, Provided Filament Settings
Color: Burnt Titanium Material Type: PETG Pro
This filament had a very consistent output. I printed it on a Bambu Lab A1 printer. To use this filament you need to select Bambu PETG HF and change the parameters to these settings: Flow Ratio: 0.97 Nozzle Temperature: 240C Max Volumetric Speed: 12mm3/s Pressure Advance: 0.034 Layer adhesion was very good. The price is a bit high though. I dried the filament at 65C for 6 hours and even while printing. This color does hide the layer lines vertically. I have not tested bridges, you might need to select Thick Bridges in your slicer or increase Bridge Flow to 1.03. ... show more

  • Does not include USB Stick w/ Cutting Software
The machine is very well packaged, and showed up two days earlier than expected. Set up was easy, nothing difficult at all. The supplied PLA filament is just enough to do a couple of test prints, and because it's not on a spool, is a royal pain to keep detangled. The test prints using the supplied PLA and built in parts went very well. My issues come down to software. Flashforge documentation recommends the Orca Slice software, which seems to be included on a USB stick along with the configuration file that is supposed to imported once the software is installed. Of course no USB stick, so I had to find the software on the mfg website, however no configuration file to be found, so I can only print with PLA for the time being. Sent an email to Flashforge asking for the config file, but no response as of yet. The nice thing about the Orca Slice is that it does not have to connected to the printer to be able to create a gcode file, which is great as my machine not in a place that can be directly connected to a PC. The reason I mention this is that the other recommended (on Flash Forge's website) slicing option is Flashpoint 5, which seems to be very useful, as long as you can connect directly to the 3d printer. All in all, the printer does a really nice job for the price, and is great for beginners (like me) once you figure out the software issues. ... show more

  • Burnt Titanium ABS Pro is amazing
Color: Burnt Titanium Material Type: ABS Pro
This filament (FlashForge ABS Pro Burnt Titanium) is gorgeous. Photos don't really do it justice. Yes, there's some glitter in there, but it's a modest amount and finely divided. It doesn't really read as "glitter filament" per se. Flash photos overstate the glitter effect because of the dazzling reflections. In person, the filament looks like a near-black metallic blue hue with highlights of brighter blue and purple. The overall effect is of deepness. It prints beautifully and adheres reliably to PEI. I did some initial tests and concluded that the sheen and irridescent effect is most pronounced at the low end of the recommended temperature range (220 to 240). But it's not a huge difference - use the temperature that works for you. The ABS version has a satiny finish. If you want more of an overtly glossy silk-like finish, you might try the PETG version. ... show more

  • Highly Disappointed
Color: Black Material Type: PETG Pro
The media could not be loaded. Oh wow where does one start? I was really excited for this roll of filament as I purchased a roll of this in black and another in a dark blue for a specific project. The box was in great shape, sturdy, and had great information on it. The reel was packed in a nice tight un-resealable bag. Reel also has product type PETG Pro and the required printing temp range on it, which is all shown in the video I uploaded. I went to print this to get the settings dialed in and then is when reality set in. No matter what temp I tried this filament would not print or would clog the extruder. I switched machines from my trusted Ender 3 V2, to a K1 Max, and finally to my Bambu printer and it would not print on any of them. So after cleaning and unclogging three machines and not being able to extrude anything beyond about 15mm, we gave up and will be returning this along with the other reel. On a positive note, what did extrude did stick well which is why I gave it three stars. I would understand if I was a novice and did not know what I was doing that it could be my issue, but with currently over 75 rolls of filaments on hand and two machines running PETG 24x7 this is not the case. Sorry Flashforge but this is no bueno and I was really hoping that it would be so we could purchase more from you. ... show more
