I've always wanted an Adirondack chair and having it rock is a big bonus! I was so excited for this chair to arrive ... until I opened it and saw all the pieces. My heart sank and I thought - there goes my entire afternoon! It ended up taking me over an hour to assemble. All the pieces are clearly labeled, but it wasn't really an easy process. I'm going to save you some time by telling you the following: * If you're used to assembling Swedish furniture, forget everything you know. This is different, and the diagrams aren't nearly as clear or easy to follow. * Resist the temptation to tighten as you go. If you do this, subsequent parts won't line up, and you'll have to go back and loosen your previous step. In particular, Step 5 will be impossible. You'll go back and tighten everything at the end * The allen wrench isn't missing - it's in the bag with the EE bolts (at least mine was) * Pay no attention to the placement of the stickers - they're not always on the interior of the piece. I wasted 10 minutes trying to attach a leg because I made this assumption until I realized the sticker was on the outside * Line up some help if you can - I did it on my own, so it's possible, but it's big and heavy, so having someone to hold the pieces in place would have cut down on the assembly time Now that it's assembled and decorating my back patio, I'm happy with the chair. It's large and comfy and seems sturdy enough to withstand the severe weather common in my area. The yellow isn't as lemon-y as in the photos, which is fine with me. This beautiful and comfortable chair was assembled by one person in 30 minutes. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, all the pieces were labeled and all the hardware and tools were included. It is heavy and sturdy/solid/nice! TIP: the chair is wide- so unless you have wide doorways - it is best to assemble it in the space you will use it. ... show more

A adirondack chair that is made of poly resin wood. The rocker is quite simply the most colorful comfortable rocker on the market. Putting it together was easy as long as you follow the step by step directions. You will need a phillips screwdriver but the allen wrench is included. The adirondack chair is very durable and I would say heavy enough that it is extremely stable. To clean you could use a pressure washer on low setting but I just used a cloth with light soapy water. It rocks perfectly and the vibrant color of yellow is sure to be seen! A+ 5star product! ... show more

I have 6 of these out in front of my gourmet market. We sell lots of desserts so they are literally occupied non-stop and I have had them a year. Kids and adults. Hard living. People ask me where I got them all the time. They stay bright and beautiful and withstand ice, Texas heat, and are below no cover. No awning. On the public sidewalk of a popular town square with tourists. I would literally not choose any other kind of rocker. Perfection.
