To start. The desk itself is everything I wanted, It very spacious (I have a lot of monitors, a laptop, big PC) and it holds everything and it looks nice. The storage makes it extra nice as now I have a place for all the extra peripherals and "Desk Junk". Even being a flat pack build your own desk it is very sturdy it has a good thick frame and a lot of cross bars to make my over stuffed desktop not bend even a little. For the price, I could not ask for anything better, I would find it hard to find something equal to the quality for the price. Building the desk: It comes with a pretty great instructions that are pretty clear for the most part (You really have to pay attention to the orientation of certain pieces or you will find yourself undoing a thing here or there, Luckily it has so many pieces its pretty easy to correct something without having to undo the whole des). Everything came well packed, even with a slightly roughed up box there is enough foam pieces keeping most things pretty safe. All parts came complete, with maybe some minor scuffs but all the important stuff was intact. The seller is the main reason I am writing the review. I tried to buy the same style desk from another seller 2 weeks ago and only got one box. I could not get an answer from anyone if the other box was coming/on the way/existed at all. Once I ordered the desk from this seller I reached out to make sure it was coming in two boxes or one so I knew what to wait for. Not only did they confirm that it came in two boxes the customer service rep sent me both tracking numbers (Amazons system only gives you one ), and once both boxes arrived the rep reached out again to ask/make sure that I got everything. It really is the little things that make the very impersonal shopping version of shopping on Amazon feel a whole lot better. Summary - If you need a big desk with a good amount of counter space, good storage, and sturdy for a great price this desk a great option. The seller's willingness to communicate and make sure every thing was as I wanted makes this a 5 star for me.

Exceeded expectations

This desk honestly surprised me in the best way. The value for the money is incredible—once it’s fully assembled, it feels like something that should cost way more. The overall look is clean, modern, and makes the whole room feel more put-together. Sturdiness is where it really impressed me. After everything was tightened down, the desk didn’t wobble or shift at all, even with multiple monitors and equipment on top. The build quality feels solid throughout, and the materials don’t feel cheap or flimsy. One thing I was nervous about before buying was the hole alignment, but everything lined up better than expected. Each section connected smoothly, and assembly didn’t feel frustrating or overly complicated. Size-wise, it gives plenty of workspace without overwhelming the room. The layout is practical and the storage is genuinely useful, not just decorative. Overall, this desk went way beyond what I thought I was getting. Great design, strong build, and excellent functionality. Highly recommended!

I'm in love with this desk. As an artist I need so much storage space & this is perfect. I have my painting studio in another spot in the house but needed a dry art area (pencil & marker works). This space needs to look nice as it's at the entry. While this desk is much larger than the old one, it feels more open. It's so sturdy and nice looking with ample storage. I'm so pleased with it. NOTE: It was a bear to assemble. Hubs & I are both handy with this type of assembly but there are a LOT of parts. It just takes time & focused attention.

Great Desk with Excellent Storage — But Be Ready for a Long Assembly

I love this desk! It looks exactly as pictured and functions just as expected. The depth is much larger than my previous desk, which makes it feel spacious and practical. The storage capacity is impressive and one of my favorite features. However, assembly was a real challenge. I’m no stranger to flat-pack furniture — I’ve put together IKEA beds, bookcases, storage units, TV stands, you name it — but this one really tested my patience. I assembled it alone (which I don’t recommend), and because the metal frame pieces have so many holes, I made several mistakes and had to backtrack multiple times. The instructions do suggest having a second person, and I definitely see why! In total, it took me over 5 hours to complete, mostly due to redoing steps I’d missed the orientation on. Overall: 5 stars for the desk itself, 2 stars for assembly. If you have patience — and preferably a helper — the end result is worth it!

Love the Wood and Metal Combo Look of This Desk

A review of the 71" Executive Desk with Power Outlets, Reversible L Shaped Desk with File Drawers & Storage Shelves. This desk looks so perfect. The wood on the top, mixed with the black metal pieces- it really looks great. The little touches of the hooks for a bag or earphones, the outlet so you can plug things in close to you, and the fact that you get to decide which direction for the L shape to happen, all great. It comes in 2 big boxes. A fairly big section of hardware to put it together, screws and such. Does come with the Allen wrenches and a small screwdriver. Lots of Styrofoam to keep the pieces from scratches or breaking. Large panels for the top of the desk, and some small, medium, and large pieces for the rest of the desk. This is a few hours work to build. We are people who have built a lot of furniture over the years and are pretty careful and we look over instructions carefully. We made a few mistakes on building this one. But caught the mistakes before having to take much apart. The big bars that will hold the top long panels is where we didn't notice where some holes needed to be. Just an FYI. So, take your time and you'll end up with a great looking desk. There were a few tiny scratches on a few pieces right out of the boxes, but nothing that you can really see if not looking for them luckily. The top panels have some weight to them. There are letters and numbers on everything so you know what they are. The stickers came off nicely after the desk was all put together (glad we waited to take them off since we did have a few times of having to redo things when we realized we had made a mistake in building). I checkmark the pieces on the instructions as they come out of the boxes to make sure we have everything. All pieces accounted for. We did have an issue with a few pieces not lining up. We contacted the company and they worked with us and now the desk is all put together and works perfectly. There is a metal mesh under the desk, it is my husband's favorite part of this desk. It hides all the wires and cords nicely. You can zip tie them to it and hide all that spaghetti mess. Plus it is just nice looking. There are 2 drawers. A small and a larger one in the same section. The larger has bars so you can hang folders if you want. In case anyone wondered if they 'soft closing' on their own, they are not. The handles are black. There are multiple shelf areas, different sizes. The metal bars and metal legs look great. They even give you some cap covers for holes because of the fact that you won't be using all depending on which L shape you choose. The wood panels, I don't think they are real wood but you can actually feel the 'wood grain'. It looks so good, a dark brown and an even darker brown. I really like the look of it. That is 2 pieces. The 3rd panel on the top is black. It is a nice combo. The desk is a great size. We have moniters, keyboards, laptops, and other things on it. And it still looks clean and organized because of the space available. The space/size of the desk also makes it very stable. I tried to wiggle the top of it and it did not move. Nice. I highly recommend this desk and the company that takes care of their customers.

Very pleased! I did add a sliding keyboard tray which made this the perfect desk for me. I didn't find anything premade that I liked so I simply made one. Putting this desk together was easy enough, better directions than Ikea for sure. It fit the space had perfectly, looks great and is very stable. I would definitely buy this again. Shipping was good as well, no problems or damage but you may need someone to help with the boxes.

Nice but questionable

Looks nice but construction is questionable at best. Holes not aligning, broken into an excessive number of pieces, and the screws/bolts are all number of sizes. Expect to take hours and hours and hours to build. Couple easily been in less pieces or use less types of fittings. Not sure it was worth the headache to put together

Best value you can get for $200

This desk is fantastic for the price. I didn't know what to expect, but this far exceeds expectations one could have for only $200. Assembly took about 6 hours by myself. Sure, it's not quite the quality that you expect from of a $500-$600 desk of the same size. It's NOT a $500 desk. It's a $200 desk. If you want $500 quality, then pay $500 for something else. If you want a great value that's sturdy and looks really nice, buy this desk!!! Pro Tip: don't tighten the bolts holding the top 3 pieces in place until all 3 pieces are in place to make sure that they all match up properly. Avoid tightening said bolts too tightly. The inserts holding the wood pieces down aren't the greatest, but they do the job just fine.
