  • Great buy.
This monitor is excellent. it is so bright and seeing 144hz for the first time is mind blowing. Everything feels hyper responsive, I now understand why I owned in fps games. The MSRP price though is spicy to say the least but on sale, it is worth it. The color quality is marvelous, it has 4 color spacing settings I believe (native, sRGB, Adobe, BT2020). Great settings as well and I'm glad it came with a remote, makes it easier to change things quickly. The AMD free sync is great as well, I see no tearing in my games. ... show more

  • (Almost) everything I wanted in a monitor!
This is the first time I actually did research to see which options had all the features I wanted instead of buying the flagship model in the size I wanted with specs that my gpu couldn’t even fully use. My use case: I work at home as a software implementation consultant so typical tech stuff, productivity apps, etc. I also lightly game (Fortnite). The OLED spoiled me for sure and I can actually tell the difference now, but based on the knowledge I gathered from a weekend of binging YouTube reviews, 4k is plenty sufficient for 32”. 240hz is nice, but I’m not very good at video games and I’m not even sure my gpu can push that out. In the past year, I’ve gone through a 49” ultrawide Samsung G9 OLED and some unimpressive 34” ultrawide LG smart monitor. I was happy with both out of the box. The G9 ended up being excessive for me and made the room too warm because I didn’t have the proper air circulation so that meant I knew I didn’t want or need OLED. I was also over the ultrawide and curved formats so I was deciding between a 27” and 32” flat panel. The other features that were important to me were 144hz, 4k IPS, VESA compatible, built-in speakers, and SMART just because I enjoy bundles. There are many more options available if 60hz is enough for you, but I definitely noticed the difference going from 240 to 60hz so I knew I wanted 120-144. I love this monitor (so far) and am so glad I took the time to research. Finding all your needs in one monitor reduces the need for all the endless peripheral. I highly recommend ChatGPT and YouTube to compare your options. The only feature missing for me is a glossy screen. Honorable mentions: BenQ 32 (geared toward Mac), Gigabyte 32 (value), and Dough spectrum Black 32 with Gorilla Glass (it just looks sleek). Would recommend to a friend. Hope this helps someone! Also worth a mention is that this coincided with the release of the Samsung M8, which is positioned as a competitor for the Applie Studio display. I almost went with that because it is cheaper than the Omen but couldn’t get over the 60hz. I put my wishlist into ChatGPT and asked for a comparison of prices and features. The monitors that kept coming up were the HP Omen 32x, a Gigabyte, and a BenQ. BenQ was intriguing but I’m not a Mac girly anymore so I was trying to focus on functionality for once. ... show more

  • Almost great.
For the price point this is a hard buy. Gaming is great however you’ll be spending 20 minutes setting this up before you can do so. It’s pretty much a small smart tv. I would consider a non smart monitor. The color is full at best not anything to write home about.
