It has a nice streamlined appearance and the fabric feels comfortable and of a high quality. Easy to assemble. Durable enough for regular use not just for appearance. Comfortable cushion and size. Stylish and attractive color/fabric. The cream color isn't weird like some online cream/off white colors when you get them home. I'm 5'3" and love how I can sit with my butt all the way back in the chair and have my feet flat on the floor. I can sit comfortably with my legs crossed. Even when reclining it's comfortable, especially considering it's not an overstuffed recliner. It feels secure and supportive. I wanted a comfortable chair for our sunroom, and this one is the perfect fit! I put it together on my own, and it looks so good. I love the color and texture of the soft fabric (see close-up photo), and the decorative nails along the sides (other photo). I really love this new recliner. My wife was ok with me getting a recliner, if it didn't "look like a recliner." This chair has what we both wanted. It's really comfortable, and reclines the whole way (see photos). My wife loves its clean lines, and how great it looks in our house. We're both happy to have it in the living room. This recliner by Flash Furniture is very easy to assemble! It took about 10 minutes total. I appreciate that there isn’t a lot of excess packing materials and no styrofoam! This chair is very comfortable. It reclines easily, as well. All of the members of my family have enjoyed relaxing in this recliner! The only issue I had with it was some physical blemishes which I attached photos of. One of the nail heads was not flush against the fabric, there was a few loose threads and a yellow stain. This arrived in a very large sturdy box. Inside the chair parts were carefully arranged with the smaller pieces tucked into the underside of the seat to maximize space. It was also protected by extra sheets of cardboard and a larger fabric sack. When removing the chair, I personally recommend opening both ends of the box, since that allows you to carefully slide it out the bottom by pushing on it from the top, while it is on it's side. While the chair is bulk and heavy, I was able to remove it from the box and assemble it all by my lonesome with no tools. FYI, I'm a middle-aged woman, not in the best shape of my life, so I would consider this a chair most healthy adults will be able to put together, no problem. The disassembled chair consists of four main piece and four legs (two straight front & two curved back). The body of the chair is comprised of the base, the back, and the two "wings" that attach to either side of the back. They probably could not make this chair much easier to put together if they tried. You simply slide the pieces together by lining up metal rails, then screw the legs into the base. The trickiest bit for me was getting the two wings on the back of the chair because you couldn't see the metal rails while you were sliding them together, which meant you had to line them up, then rely on feel to tell you if they were connecting; however, even that took mere minutes. Guesstimating, I would say the entire assembly took me less than 20 minutes total. Once assembled, I sat down in the chair and found it supportive, yet comfy. Pushing it back into the reclining position, I was very impressed by how easy the transition was and how far back it reclined. All you need to make this recline is to lean back and stretch out, then lean forward and down to bring it back into the upright position. There is no handle/lever sticking out the side to deal with. Size-wise, this chair has a compact footprint, so it is perfect for smaller rooms or spaces. At the same time, it is going to be comfortable for most average adults. In the end, here are what I consider to be the strength and limitations of this chair... Strengths: - Affordable - Easy to assemble - Attractive, classic style - Slim profile - Reclines close to 180° - Reclines easily, without relying on a lever - Petite footprint; perfect for smaller space - Comfortable Limitations/Considerations: - The fabric is very light, so adding a cover or protective treatment might be wise - The material has a looser weave, which might be an issue with pets, kids, jewelry, etc... - The seat cushion is attached, so there will be no flipping or replacing it In the end, I can recommend this chair, provided you are willing to accept the light colored woven fabric. It's attractive, functional, easy to assemble, affordable, and would be a perfect choice for someone who wants a comfy chair, but does not want to sacrifice a lot of floorspace to get it. ... show more
