Bought this chair for my mother for Christmas. Set it up and it was ok. The arm rests are very low. They angle down towards the seat to almost flush with the seat. Almost like no armrest at all. Putting it together was very simple. However operating it to come down the left side stopped lowering until a loud pop and chair then shook. After looking at it we realized it was missing two bolts that secures the left rail and a support cross bar. This out the rail out of alignment and when it lowered would hit another screw until it slid off it and made the loud pop. Immediately called the manufacture but went to a voicemail. Left my information but did not get a call back. You could tell there was never any bolts and nuts installed by the paint. We found a couple in my dads garage to fix it ourselves. Bought this for Mom. She has had it a little over a year. Sometimes it would make a loud noise, maintenance man checked it out didn't see anything broke and now the foot rest will not come up. That sucks when you have fluid in your legs.

I work in a nursing facility and we purchased a few of these lift chairs for our residents. We had 2 that the motors quit working in after only a short time. Thankfully one was still able to be exchanged through Amazon. On another one we purchased the extended warranty, but have not been able to get the code to work to register. A spring was not installed properly and fell out the bottom. We have made several calls to Flash Furniture, sent several e-mails and pictures as instructed with no response!! We chose these chairs because they are able to be wiped clean, but the material is slick and poses a safety risk when attempting to position the chair to stand. The chair was easy to put together. The back just snapped in place to the base. You plug it in and it starts working. The problem is that it doesn't keep working! ... show more
