This firepit was well packed and arrived in perfect shape. The assembly took about 30 minutes (a few of the pcs are difficult to hold while starting the screw if you are assembling by yourself). A few notes regarding assembly - I would have liked to see lock nuts supplied, I had lock washers that I added. Some of the bolts are longer and didn't see why in the instructions - I think you should use these to hold the handle on (with the threads pointing into the firepit, these will catch the screen cover, otherwise it sinks down into the firepit). The good - this fire pit is really lightweight and portable. This makes it easy to put away when not in use. The bad - this firepit is really lightweight. I doubt it would last more than a season if left outside in the elements. If you're looking for a firepit to serve as a focal point and a permanent install this one is probably not for you. If you want a firepit to pull out when friends or the grandkids are over this one should be fine. I will probably put wax logs in mine or burn a few small logs at a time. ... show more

I got this thinking that the Flash Furniture brand may mean a slightly better quality product. But this firepit is actually identical to the cheaper generic portable fire pits that are about $10-15 cheaper. It is not branded Flash Furniture anywhere on the packaging or actual item. As for the fire pit itself, it's pretty flimsy. I think I can put kindling or charcoal in there OK, but I'm a little concerned about putting a big fire log in it - just doesn't look like it will take the weight. Anyway, save some money and don't buy this one. Buy the cheap generic ones instead, or pay more for something of quality from a proper brand. ... show more

Lid falls off easily. Drilled 3 holes at 120 degrees (where legs attach) and added 3 small black screws, protruding up about 1/4" to keep lid from sliding off. 👍🏽
