Easy to set up. Works great so far. I used it camping where an open fire was not available. I cooked hot dogs a few times on it. It does leave a little carbon residue on the hot dogs. So it's smokeless, but I would not recommend using it solely for cooking. It does put out a decent amount of heat. I used about a 1/2 tank of propane gas for about a total of 6 hours.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for our camping trips. We were tired of caring firewood and our firepit. We didn't like smelling like smoke too. This fireplace is perfect! Great size. The video shows it on high and the photo is on medium. It provides enough warmth to sit outside at our campsite. Granted we are not camping in 20° either. Probably more like 50-60° at night. We love the long gas hose that comes with it. We love the self-igniter. We did hook it up to 5lbs propane tank. The carrying straps are a nice bonus too. Easy to move. So glad I bought it. I would recommend for camping patio, lake or beach to keep you warm. Next trip I will have a little table to put on so it doesn't sit on the ground. More heat at your level when your sitting down by the pit. Constructed well. Nice and sturdy. Would recommend. Great puce too.

We like the size and the easy controls. Having a smokeless firepit is nice. More rocks are needed for the larger design. The rocks that come in the basin aren't enough. They give extra rocks in 2 small bags. Still not enough for the large size. The straps they sent are too small as well. This is why we give it 4 stars.

Short stay camping or dry weather and ya don't want to set the woods on fire or really wet and can't get a fire going this is your ticket. no smoke and you don't have to pay for the camp ground wood. I wouldn't ever cook over it .

Convenience is what this is all about. You can have the backyard fire for a short period of time and then just turn off the gas when everyone wants to go in. It's a bit heavy and bulky but so is all the firewood you would have burned and no ashes to get clean up. Dry hot summer and a burn ban don't stop you from camp fires. Only used a couple times so far but worth the price. Feels sturdy and packs up nicely.
