Description

Flambeau Outdoors 4007 Tuff Tainer Divided is a versatile box for storing water sensitive fishing supplies such as baits, hooks, and fishing lures. The box is designed with a translucent lid and base for convenient identification of contents when closed. Includes 15 Zerust dividers to create up to 18 small compartments. Zerust products are made with a proprietary chemical formulation that is invisible, odorless, non-toxic, non-reactive, non-flammable and non- allergenic. This chemical formulation releases a vapor that diffuses throughout an enclosure made with Zerust VCI materials and settles on exposed metal surfaces to form a microscopic corrosion inhibiting layer.

Flambeau 4007 was just the right size to organize my drip irrigation fittings and emitters. The dividers fit snug so nothing migrates to the next compartment. I have no concern if I drop the case or turn it upside down, assuming I have secured the closing snap latches, that anything will break or get out of place. It is clear enough to easily see that I have the correct group of items. The case is lightweight but still very rigid and the closing latch has a nice click sound when secured. It can easily be secured with one hand. This will be a real time saver for upcoming irrigation system modifications. The case can be stored laying on the bottom, on the back hinge area, or on a side hook handle. I would recommend this product and consider Fambeau for other organizing boxed. ... show more

It's great for stack, has a nice appearance, has water resistance, the size is good n the closure it just right for what I needed if for. It comes with dividers n they are easy to put in. Nice organizer for hardware, lego, sewing. Seems very sturdy and well made. The only downside is if you're using them for fishing, which is there advertised purpose, they are not water proof. In fact, after removing the label there was glue residue on the surface of the lid. I clean it off with a goo removal product and a little soapy water. No problem there. But then with the lid sealed shut, I ran warm water over the top to rinse off the soap. I can't figure out how but water leaked in. I bought 5 of these and I was very care on the next 4 but water still leaked in with the lid snapped shut. I don't think they'll keep your tackle dry and rust free in an outdoor wet environment as advertised. ... show more

Wanted to consolidate my fishing tackle and organize it into a consistent sized plastic box. Have a bunch of random sizes that make finding my gear more trouble than it needs to be. • These work great. The 11'' x 7.25'' x 1.75'' for only $3,73 each is an incredible deal!!! If you bought these as “fishing tackle” boxes you would be spending more than twice the price or more. • Each box comes with 10 dividers. • LOVE the size. Perfect for a backpack fishing bag. The dividers come strips, linked with small plastic tabs. You need to cut them apart. Not a big deal but time consuming when you are doing 4 boxes at once. Also please note that there are not enough tabs to divide every section in the box. If you are like me one you wanted to have each of your lures in a separate compartment, just hope that you have some very large ones that take up 2 to 3 sections. Wish it came with one more strip of dividers. (only 10) per box Overall the build quality is great and the dividers fit well, lock into place securely and also help to give the case some extra rigidity because they lock in place. Not like some of those boxes that have a square channel for dividers, these are beveled and fit like a dovetail joint. Case locks are plastic, have a good from click and stay closed well. Nothing to ever RUST!! VERY pleased with my purchase, plan on ordering a few more. Happy Fishing!!!!! ... show more

If you have room for this size storage box it's just about as perfect as you can get because it allows you to make a variety of "cell" or compartment sizes to fit just about anything and it's very reasonably priced. The case is transparent so you can easily see the stuff inside. It's safely I locked by 2 snap latches which are capable of withstanding a drop or 2, as long as the stuff inside isn't too heavy. I own 2 of these. The whole box is of relatively light/medium gauge plastic so throwing it around isn't advisable. ... show more

Ok, I bought this to organize dice and it was perfect for it. I'm sure it's great for fishing, too, but this review is about using it indoors. I play a weekly tabletop roleplaying game at a friend's house and usually I have dice organized into sets with one of each size. But lately we've been playing a game where you need a lot of dice of various sizes, and need to find them quickly. This is the perfect way to organize those dice. When I need 3d8, 1d6, and 1d4 for a roll, I can grab them quickly. I like that you can change the compartment sizes to hold the right amount, and I like that the case is small and portable so it fits with my gaming books. It snaps shut easily, so I've never spilled the dice. And the clear top is perfect for either seeing the contents, or covering in nerdy stickers. ... show more

This will be a decent case as long as it's not holding anything too heavy and doesn't get taken "out in the field" often. I don't expect it to hold up for very long, even just using it inside my shop for pocket hole screws. The latches don't feel very sturdy and the dividers are thin and weak. I much prefer the cases from Plano but they don't make one quite large enough for this collection. At least it cost less than 6 bucks! ... show more
