This is my second Asus gaming laptop. Tbh, I haven't delved into the tricks and workings of it too much other than to figure out how to stop the cycling of colors on the backlit keyboard. But, just from mu using it for about a month, I found it runs hot. The fans is very loud, and a bit annoying. Also, and I may have overlooked it, but my old Asus has a dedicated button that let you not only boot up by sidestepping Windows, but took you directly to an Asus site with music, games, reading etc. and I haven't found that on this one. I also don't like how the display visibly dims when running on even 100% charged battery. It makes it hard on older eyes to comfortably view the display. I may find work arounds to my gripes, but in the meantime, I am enjoying the graphics and sound. I've been an Asus user for years - I still have one of the early Asus tablets, that with its docking keyboard weighs more than this laptop. ... show more

This laptop works just as I expected...not too great for the AAA games, but you can’t expect the best for $900...those laptops are reserved for those who can afford to dish out $5000 without a second glance. Windows and applications boot up fast, and I really like having the second storage drive...helps to keep Windows nice and tidy! ... show more

muy buena maquina muchas cosas para aprender con ella las opciones que tiene son miles , creo q hasta ahora los puntos en contra que encontre son que la salida de audifonos no es compatible con audifonos de apple jack 3.5 y la bateria se agota muy rapido para uso de desarrollador derrepente seria excelente una opcion del software que optimice las funciones de la laptop para que la bateria dure mas , por otro lado excelente ... show more
