The dimensions of the fabric are 23” square,... But it appears to have the stuffing of a 20” insert. I’m not bummed enough to go to the effort & hassle of returning them. They’re about what you would expect for the price. However, if you want your 24x24 case to be properly stuffed & not looking a bit wilted, you might want to skip these. These inserts are going in a teen’s room. I’m not going to put anything pricey in her room to be teen-ified until it’s destroyed. These inserts are fine for that purpose. Nice & squishy. Washed & fluffed in the machine just fine. If I get a spare minute, I might break the seam and add stuffing. But I’m not in a rush to do it. They’re ok as they are, just not a nice full 24” insert. I laughed so hard when I opened the package...then thought to myself 🤔 maybe I should get a lyposuck machine to condense my knitting and crochet projects sent to customers. After that train of thoughts these pillows are perfect!

I currently have older 22x22 feather pillows to supplement sagging couch cushions, and I wanted to replace them. I bought these in 24x24 and put them in a 22x22 slip covers. I expected them to fill out the slip covers, but they do not. Very flimsy and thin. 24inch with 22 inch cover is still understaffed. Very flat. Zero support.
