I have an amazon purchased tension pole by yaheetech, so i was worried if this would work w a diff name brand. IT WORKS! The spin feature does seem slightly lagged/slowed down compared to original tension dome/higher quality poles but still works just fine. Helped me to eliminate the ugly dome and to extend my pole to a higher ceiling. Quick to install, though didn’t come with any paper directions & i had no idea how to use the fancy bolts included. Had to have someone who recognized this type of bolt do the install for me. But it was quick and easy from there.

Quality is perfect it looks extremely stable very well made, it's pretty heavy, it's definitely going to hold up some weight and it came with everything to install it (except instructions in English, I have no clue what that paper said) it is all still sitting in a box in my garage (minus the instructions I threw away out of frustration) From the photos and reviews I thought for sure this mount would be compatible with my pole but if course, it's me I'm talkin about so, it's NOT.. I was going to do the return but with all the storms and then the hurricanes destroying my apartment and car and then having to abruptly move and dealing with FEMA I just didn't have the time.. I have NO CLUE if it mounts from the top or the bottom because no matter which way I did it, it did not fit🤷🏼♀️. It is what it is. I'll eventually pull out my other pole from the box and see if it is compatible with that one.. maybe I'll get lucky... Then I can give an actual review🥰 fingers crossed 🤞🏼

If you have access to the area above your ceiling (like an attic), buy some bolts, nuts, and washers. The hardware in this kit does not stay well secured in the ceiling. Aside from that, the mount seems to work well so far.

Great idea but not worth the money it would not hold my pole with the screws that came with it and it also put a hole in my ceiling and I still haven’t took it down yet
