Works better than I expected especially for the price. A lot of times when I actually go get a massage, I prefer them to focus on my shoulders. This little device eliminates my need to go get a massage every week. I get really bad knots in my right shoulder and this helped get the knot out after the first use. I like how I can put my arms in the straps and still get work done on my computer. The way it's designed also allows for me to have more control without putting my arm in an awkward position to reach certain areas. It's pretty comfortable too when I lean my head back on the actual pillow/support cushion. I recommend this for anyone looking for a really effective shoulder massager. I read reviews before purchasing it and immediately turn the heat setting off because other reviews mentioned it being an issue over time. The heat comes on by default each time you power it on so you'd have to turn it off if you don't want the heat. I haven't used that feature so I can't review that part. I also haven't tried using the car adapter that is included. Seems like it'll be great for long road trips which I go on often or when I'm sitting in Los Angeles traffic. The quality of the material is good too. I honestly wasn't expecting such a good device for half the price of other similar ones that I looked at but this works. I've only have it for a few days though so I'm reviewing the effectiveness of the actual unit on the shoulder knots. I'll have to post a future review if I ever have any feedback with regard to the life of the device and if anything eventually falls apart.

I purchased this to help ease tension in my shoulders and back. At my first use it was kind of painful but after trying different positions I found it to be really effective. It kneads deeply enough that it does the job nicely. The one problem I had that I haven’t found a solution for is that due to the location where the cord connects to the device, the cord tends to fall out, which interrupts the massage. It would be great if there was a clasp to hold the cord in place when in use. I comes with a car adapter but I don’t use it.

I've had neck issues for a few months, then saw my Dr. and had an MRI and, meds, PT treatments etc. and was searching for heated massagers to try since the pain wasn't going away and was wearing me down 24/7! I ordered this, and had hubbs pu a vest heat massager type thing at Walmart while waiting on this to arrive.That made only a slight difference. When this item came, I immediately put it on my neck and laid on it on the couch for a good 1/2 hour. At times I fiddled with the angles/positions and the directions of the rotating balls. By the time I had decided that was enough I sat up and felt so much relief of the knots in my upper back and the neck pain was hardly noticeable. I used the heat option the entire time. Between this and the neck pillow I found for ppl with neck problems I was finally able to get some relief. I brought this with me to my daughter's at Thanksgiving, so she could also try it out as she suffers with fibromyalgia and Migraines. She used it that day for awhile and felt like it helped, so I just told her she could have it then, and I would order me another. Her pain is in multiple areas and so draining, I felt she needed it more than I. Just received the 2nd on I ordered from a different company today, tried it out and it too seems to work the same, so I am happy. Both were a good deal and on sale seem to be made of good quality and well worth their value in my opinion!
