These are well made plates with a smooth finish and are easy grip with slots cut out to grip them when switching out plates. They fit perfectly on my dumb bell handles and the cut outs in the plates make weight changes easy so plates don't slip out of your hands. Steel plates with a protective coating. So far the finish appears to be holding up. My only complaint is that i ordered 4pcs at the same time and received two sets of slightly different plates. It looks like these were made by the same company but by two different factories. Slightly different sizes like molds wore differently between two plants and finish color is different. One set more green tint and the other more blue. Just a cosmetic complaint. I have not tested weights for accuracy but they appear to load evenly on the bar. ... show more

Ordered a bunch of these plates. 5’s are good but 10’s have a 1.25” center hole. Boxes say 1”. They wobble around and get loose. Unacceptable. Will return.
