Love this coat! I’m 5.9”, and this is so long on me, and the arms with their cuffs are so long it’s absolutely perfect. The shape of the coat follows the shape of my body. It’s a little smaller on top, dips in at the waist and it has a very slight a-line towards the bottom just enough for roominess, I love the heavy duty double zipper as I walk my dog, I take big strides, and it allows me to have more freedom of movement down at the hemline. I LOVE this coat. I love longer jackets, especially for the winters in Michigan. One thing I hate about some long winter jackets is that the zipper doesn’t go all the way down. This coat has a zipper that goes all the way down, but leave a little open on the ends to help with leg movement. I don’t feel constricted when wearing this. I bought a size up because I’d rather have extra room than not enough. So I bought an XL and it isn’t overly baggy. It’s a great fit. I love the green color too. Reminds me of a hunter green. When they said 750+ filling I was expecting it to fluff up much more than it did. I did do the usual tricks fluffing and hanging upside down; I was hoping it would fill up more but still not as full as I expected. That being said, just got back from -20C/-4F with windy conditions and this jacket kept me quite warm. The shell is durable and easy to clean, quite thick too. I am a fan of goose down jackets so I was disappointed when I saw on the jacket tag that this was synthetic down, not actual goose down like the description stated. I was going to return it but overall, it did warm well and is quite stylish while on. The zippers worked fine in cold weather and the fur on the hood is soft and smooth. ... show more

Edit- the zipper regularly gets stuck on the inside zipper guard. Not a big deal per se but it's not a fluid motion for the first 5-7inches of the zip up. I also noticed the hood does not shape like the CG does (no wire in the faux fur) to keep it from flopping on my head. Again, not a big deal over all because the hood still protects my face the wind and is deep enough to trap the warm air. The pockets are deep enough to store my iPhone, AirPods, multiple chapsticks, tissues, MagSafe wallet, and fitted gloves without falling out or looking bulky because they are deep. I have my pockets stuffed every day to avoid carrying a purse or back pack around. The inside pockets are identical to my CG too just sewn on opposite sides. They work perfectly for simple storage to hide cash and other essentials. I purchased this coat in a size Medium as a temporary replacement of my CG Mystique size XS while pregnant. I travel frequently between the NE and reside in a Midwest state that borders Canada and sits on the Great Lakes. My CG has been a godsend for getting me through the winters since 2020. This coat has been just as warm and as comfortable. The difference is what the shell is made out of. I haven't experienced any saturation in the material while walking outside in wet snow this past week. It stopped the frigid wind gusts too. For me it was worth the $158 price tag. I might snag another one in my pre-pregnancy size as a back up to wear while my CG is sent off for routine maintenance. ... show more

The coat was packaged very well. Upon opening, I was surprised at how long the coat was. I am 5‘3“ tall and the coat is nearly 5 feet long! I ordered an XL and had plenty of room underneath to wear a thick sweater. The coat has two pockets on the outside and two pockets inside, one of which is a zipper. This is a useful one. The hoodie is very large, but it has a Velcro that hold it down. In addition, the arms of the coat has sleeves which keeps the wrist warm. Overall, very happy with this coat. ... show more

I really wanted to like this coat. It's long, lightweight, and warm - the pockets are my favorite. They are so comfortable and well-placed and warm. The zipper is heavy-duty for sure, but the fabric on the inside keeps getting stuck. And not a little stuck that is annoying - like stuck I can't get in or out of the coat, and now I'm late for work. The bottom one gets stuck, and the top one gets stuck every time I put it on. Hugely frustrating. Also, as mentioned in another review, the hood is way too big and cannot be worn. I bought this for our trip to Montana in January. I get easily sick when it's winter cold, so I wanted a really long puffer coat that would keep me warm in snowy weather. This falls mid leg for me and I'm 5'3". It's the perfect length. I really love the quality of the coat. It's super warm and comfy. It's so comfy it feels like you're walking in a sleeping bag. I can sleep in this thing! The fur is detachable from the hood and the hood is also detachable from the jacket itself. The weight is good too. It's not heavy for its size. Shipping was fast.
