If I’m packing yogurt I get a little paranoid and I’ll use one of these and then a smaller ice pack (like a bentgo one) I don’t like to use 2 of these because they are a little heavier then a regular igloo ice block you get from Walmart. I pack lunches for work, my (insulated) lunch bag is kept inside an office kept around 68 degrees. I insert two of these packs into my bag and they are 100% liquid and room temperature by the time I get home (approximately 11 hours later). Not sure how some people are getting theirs to last so long, but mine make it about 4-6 hours before they're liquid. Not a huge deal, but if you're looking for all day cold this isn't it (unless you pack 6-12 per lunchbag). They are, however, slim and don't take up a lot of room in your bag and they're easy to clean. ... show more

My mom has recently become homeless and has decided to undergo an extended camping trip with the dog down by a local river. I have been able to find housing for myself in the aftermath of our financial situation falling apart due to her disability. I bought her all the necessary gear and am supporting her in this difficult time but food preservation is a large problem. I bought her a large ice chest that does a good job of keeping the heat out but I have to take ice from my job in the restaurant industry to constantly refresh her only form of refrigeration. These reusable ice packs as cheap as they are help to widen my margin of error when my own life gets in the way of supporting her. I ordered & received these cooler ice-packs the other day. They seem really nice and should do a good job of keeping the sandwich & beverage in my lunch-bag cold. About 2 hours after I'd originally placed the order, I went back to Amazon.com and decided to buy a 2nd set. That's when I noticed that the price of these ice-packs had since dropped about $1.25. I bought these to help keep my guinea pigs cool in the summer heat. They are the perfect size to slide under their blankets so they can lay on them. They stay cool for hours and I don't have to worry about them accidentally popping open.

These are quality and stay frozen as long as you would expect a quality freezer pack to do so. I find that even if I don't need all four, I'll use the extras to line the bottom or sides of my cooler to just get more frozen material in there. Thin but durable.

These are thin and I was afraid they wouldn't last. They are tough and stay frozen in florida heat. The best part is when stocking cooler with groceries they slide easily between products.
