if youve ever seen aquascaping tools at the aquarium specialty store/section, youll know they can range in price and quality. these are great fpr my freshwater aquarium, the long length allows you to manage underwater plants with ease, as the distance reduces water disturbances, so you can plant your stems into your substrate, get that one leaf at the base of the stem, or scrape some snail eggs off your GLASS aquarium,(do not push hard it will scratch probably, not for plastic/acrylic as it scratches easily) the felt bag is handy for the storage of tools. My bag came worn/ slightly used. there are holes in the bottom of the bag -that could not have been punctured- by the -still in the plastic- tools. would rate 4 stars if the tools seem used at all, to my understanding i purchased a "new" product. item is still great and if you keep the tools in the plastic there is no loss of performance from the bag. ;)

You can't beat the price for what all you get and these worked perfect for planting and trimming. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the tools will rust/erode super quick if even a few drops of water are left on them. I was able to wipe most of it off but definitely don't leave these to air dry like I did, they'll last longer if you hand dry but other than that, these are great!

I love this set of tools and have used it a great deal since my purchase about a month ago. They are well made, stainless steel. Easy to use and you get one of each of tools you would most need and use. They come with a nice black fabric drawstring bag for storage.

I can only comment on my first impression....nice quality. They definitely SEEM well made and not junk. I was surprised by the weight of the tools. It will be awhile until l get a lot of use with them (just started my planted tank) to really know if they are truly well made and hold up with use over time.

I bought this item for a 3-gallon, 12" tall tank and was pleasantly surprised upon seeing solid welding and instrument quality tooling. (Disclaimer: I have only used the spreader and forceps for initial aquascaping and don't expect a timely use of the shears, but they do have a crisp cutting sound and feel smooth. Spot on for my needs.)

Very sturdy product, also a lot larger than I was imagining which was a good thing in my case. The tweezers are substantial and grip things easily, the scissors are sharp the mechanism seems like it’s going to hold up. The gravel chives scraper thing is also useful and well made. Satisfied with the product over all and the price point is great!

I wanted a set of aquascaping tools and these do the job well! So far I have used the scissors for pruning my plants, the spatula for my substrate to make good slopes, and the tweezers for adding plants. Works perfect! I highly recommend this!
