So far, so good. I've had other brands from BB&Beyond, and this is my first time buying Fiskars. I like most things Fiskars makes, so I think this garden bag will also be included. They make good quality products. I've only used it for a short time...but it's light weight, and holds a lot! It makes weeding and pruning so much easier to have a portable, maneuverable tall bag to dump my clippings in. It holds so much, I really only need to dump it into my green waste bin one time! I hope it lasts... I try to store it in the garage or in the shade outside when not in use, assuming too much direct sun would not be good. ... show more

After over a decade of abuse, we finally had to replace our original Fiskars collapsing garden bag. This space saving bag is a true blessing when tending to our half acre yard with numerous trees, ornamentals, and WEEDS. It’s very lightweight yet durable. The extra large capacity is a huge bonus. It even handles our thorny bougainvillea trimmings without ripping. The handles on either side have been proven very sturdy! We have used large contractors bags inside if we were doing a cleanup that requires trash disposal. Easily collapsed, two closures hold it flat and then hung on wall of garage. ... show more

This is at least the fourth one of these I've had. I like the size. It is short enough that I can throw things into it easily while sitting or kneeling in the garden. The diameter is large enough to generally hit it when tossing something but small enough to fit near me in most spots in the garden. The size is reasonable to pick up a fair amount of debris but not so large that it becomes very heavy when full (I'm lazy about going to the green waste can to empty, so I'll generally keep pruning, weeding, etc. until my debris container is absolutely full. Larger debris containers are then often quite heavy to carry. This size forces me to empty when I should.). The metal spring keeps it upright and open very well. It's light weight. The one negative is that they do wear out. Sharp sticks and thorns do poke holes in the fabric over time (though I've never had it tear significantly from those) and the fabric does begin to give way along the stitched seams eventually. Each one lasts me about 2 years (and we garden year-round in California). I do keep it in the garage when not in use. I expect continual UV exposure if left outside would probably degrade it a bit faster. Though I rarely bother to collapse it, the toggles and loops work well when you want to. I've never wanted any sort of top for it for garden use. I think I like it even better then the wooden bushel baskets of my youth (but of course it isn't compostable). ... show more

This is my 3rd or 4th time buying this product and I love it. I use it to bag up my yard work debris without having to fight the bag. Between lawn clippings, leaf litter, bush prunings and weeding, it gets a lot of use. I use the sturdy 50 gallon outdoor trash bags with easy tie tops from Costco and this product makes them easy to fill. The hard shell bottom allows me to drag it without damage. There are holes in the bottom for drainage, if needed, and to reduce suction when pulling out a full bag. The siding material is sturdy for common-sense use and easy to rinse off. It has convenient handles, two at the top for carrying or dragging and one at the bottom to aid in dumping. It scrunches down and secures for easy storage. There are a few things I don’t like, but can work around. —Nothing holds the bag from falling in when I dump grass into the bag. I tie a rope around the top of the container to secure the overlap on my bag. Maybe smaller bags that overlap tighter around the top would help, but that’s not what I use. —Filled bags are almost always difficult to remove, usually requiring me to dump them out on the ground, sometimes having to inch the top of the wire ring container down over my bloated bag. This is especially difficult when filled with sticks from prunings that poke at the soft sides. It’s just the nature of a soft-sided container, and I probably overfill my large bags, making them heavy to lift in general. —If I fill it top-heavy, like with long, branched-out stems, the soft sides colapse and dump over. I just have to manage this as I fill it. —Finally, if left out in the sun or rain, the fabric used on the handles, top ring, and storage securing loops will become brittle and tear. Overall, this is a great, sturdy product that I will continue to buy as they wear out from use. ... show more

This can has a wide opening, which is nice for yard waste, and folds very flat - it arrived in a box about one inch thick. I stood on a ladder and threw branches down into it while pruning, nice. It seems durable and has a plastic-feeling coating that should be good to resist mold and rot. I bought two pop-up canvas cans probably 25 years ago and only just threw them away after the wires finally popped out at the bottom. The plastic can on wheels fell apart much quicker. These are an amazing invention - and I love not using plastic bags! This Fiskars Kangaroo 30 gallon is a good size for lightweight items like leaves and sticks. It's wider than a rolling plastic yard can, and a little shorter - good for tossing stuff into it. ... show more

Love this large, easy to move, barrel! Bought my daughter one after I discovered it. But you might need to duct tape the bottom circle of it that gets dragged on the ground, since it does wear out after much use. Highly recommend!
