I have several tote of red wrigglers, in a basement area, for the organic worm castings, each tote, produces, every other month or so. These are designed perfect to hold that precious cargo! The small green bag ( far bigger than I expected ) is well made, for a great price point, shipped quickly, the package was covered in heavy paper, so it will become worm food, for more worm castings!! The heavy duty plastic bag, really feels more like a tarp, has a zipped lid, and handles are sewn in, with upper and lower handle. You need to push a stiffener that is provided, through the grommets in the top, is very easy to do. That simple helps it with keeping the shape, for easy zipping.

I use these primarily for grass and make trips to the dump once a week with them. I’m on my second season with them and they’re holding up well. I did tear one of them but I did have probably 60 pounds of wet grass in it and handled it kind of rough when dumping. As long as you handle with care with that weight, they’re great! I really only use two at a time also so was able to just cycle in the next one since they come in packs of 4. Great quality for the price. I see tons of other people at the dump using the same ones too.

They are far larger than my previous plastic garbage cans, which were 72 gallons. The material had a sturdy feel to it, and the strengthened handles gave the impression that they were capable of transporting a significant amount of weight. When I thought about the cover that was provided, I thought it would be ideal for preventing leaves from flying away on days when there was a lot of wind. The majority of my usage of this tool was during the springtime cleaning that I did. I used it to remove anything from dead leaves and twigs to grass clippings and branches that had been cut. I was able to fit an entire portion of the waste from my yard into only one bag, which is a testament to the volume of the bag. Because of this, I was able to avoid making a significant number of journeys to my compost pile, which was something that my ailing back truly enjoyed. It is my opinion that the adaptability of these bags is their most notable characteristic. Not only did they easily manage yard debris, but I also found them excellent for storing gardening materials and even as improvised planters for some of my bigger crops. I found them to be quite useful. The fact that the material is waterproof implies that it is able to survive the weather, which is a significant advantage for storage that is performed outside.

Worked well for the initial use. After a couple of weeks, as the bags were exposed to sunlight, they turned black and immediately disintegrated into shreds of material. Strongly recommend against purchasing these.
