  • Huge Reusable Yard Bags That Actually Stand Up
I’ve gone through so many paper yard bags over the years that turn into soggy mush the second there’s a little moisture involved, so I finally tried these reusable ones and I’m really glad I did. These are genuinely big. Like, “wow, that’s a lot of leaves in one trip” big. For my usual raking and pruning cleanup, I can fit a ridiculous amount in a single bag, and that alone cuts down on the back and forth. My favorite part is that they actually stay open and stand up while you’re filling them. Each one comes with a stiff hoop/ring that threads around the top edge so the mouth holds its shape. Once it’s in, the bag stays upright and wide open, which makes it way easier to shovel or rake straight into it. Getting that ring threaded the first time takes a little patience (the last bit is the most annoying), but it’s a one-and-done setup if you just leave it in. The material feels like that thick woven plastic style that can take some abuse. I’ve tossed in small branches and rough yard junk and haven’t had any tearing. The handles are also actually useful. You’ve got handles up top for carrying, plus a lower handle that makes dumping the bag way easier without having to wrestle it like a floppy trash bag. I’ve dragged them short distances and the stitching has held up fine. Storage is easy too. They flatten down nicely, and if you want them super compact you can pull the hoops out, but I just flatten them with the hoops left in and slide them against a wall in the garage. The included gloves are a nice extra. I wouldn’t call them heavy leather work gloves or anything, but they’re perfectly fine for leaves and general yard mess. Overall, these have made yard cleanup a lot less annoying, and they feel like they’ll last season after season. Priced fairly for getting three big bags that are actually reusable. ... show more

  • Does exactly what it should, good instructions
I have a small flower farm so gathering leaves/yard waste is a big part of my week. These pop up bags are huge and having a free of them messing I can collect different types of matter at the same time. I feel like the quality is fine if you're not to tough on it. I've gotten quite a few bags full workout any snake or issues. I'm mostly picking up leaves/ plant matter so weight on the handles hasn't been an issue. The instructions were straight forward and I looked how there are 2 different ways to store these detailed. Awesome product for my usage. ... show more

  • pretty decent, but time will tell
The bags themselves feel to be pretty decent quality. They are short and wide rather than a narrower waist height size than most regular yard waste bins and bags are. Well. I say theyre decent quality, but we'll eventually have to find out the hard way. The way i open (new) yard bags is by basically putting them over my head to get them open completely (shush. it works). When I did that with these I noticed a couple streaks like the picture shown, where the material is weaker in places. I suppose we'll find out what that means a bit later in season after we've used them a bit. Like most other bags of this style, especially wider ones, you do have to add some stuff to it before it'll stay open and stable on its own. Im also curious to see how these hold up to the elements, as it were. Even tho I store them properly, sometimes it'll be a day or three before yard pickup. My old ones ripped easily within a few months. Hope these are better Don’t bother with the ‘gloves’ they come with. Thinnest things Ive ever seen, offering minimal protection or comfort when picking up sticks and twigs and the like. Thorny bits? Might as well go barehanded. ... show more

  • Well-made leaf bags with only a minor storage tradeoff
This set of three plastic green bags with handles is perfect for my leaf removal projects. I live near a very large sycamore tree that drops thousands of leaves in my yard, and with my Japanese Maples and Persimmon, it makes for a good two months of yard work in the winter. I typically use large paper leaf bags, which last for about four fillups before they begin to deteriorate. I was able to pour two of these paper bags full of leaves into one of these green plastic bags, which means this system is far more efficient and will save me money in the long run. The handles are sturdy, but the bag does get fairly heavy for me (female, in my 60s) if I fill it completely. The bags are easy to set up - just push the plastic ring through one of the grommets until it comes out the other, then tuck the ends in for a wide-mouth bag that stands on its own. The initial setup took about five minutes to push the ring through, with occasionally needing to straighten out the bag. After that, I was set and didn’t have to mess with it any more. Each bag has its own ring to hold it open and I’m very pleased with how well the bag stands up on its own. The only minor issue I have with these bags is in order to store them in the most compact way, you would need to remove the rings. I will simply flatten the bags for storage when not in need, but I don’t want to go through the hassle of removing the rings. This set came with garden gloves that are very lightweight but perfect for using with leaves. ... show more

  • Better Than Those Ol' Soggy Paper Bags
These 72-Gallon Yard Waste Bags have transformed yard clean-up! Previous to this, I was fighting with the giant paper bags you get from the hardware store. You know the ones that get top-heavy and fall over and rip easily and get soggy when wet? Well, these yard waste bags have solved this problem; they are sturdy and can hold sticks, leaves, and other plant matter with no issues. The only thing I have to be mindful of now is filling them so much that they become too heavy to move. For the current asking price of $18.99, these are going to save me a boatload of money from not having to buy paper bags every week and also help me feel good about supporting the environment in such a sustainable way. ... show more
