Fairly new to the hobby so I depend on truthful reviews when purchasing my fish supplies. I was not with this brand but the reviews seemed honest and helpful. Noticed many complaints about the squeeze bulb with other brands and I have experienced that myself. I was impressed with the squeeze build as I feels a thought stronger and only needed a pump or to 2 to get the water moving. So happy to get my sand really clean for a change and what a difference. The biggest plus was the time it took to get the cleaning done, I no longer dread it! I have only started using it so if thoughts change will let you know. Received a message from seller after my purchase to ask if all was ok, I've been on Amazon a long time and never received such an inquiry, thought that was a plus. Year warranty. As a newbie I can say using it was so easy and I personally thought the price was great. 100% satisfied!!!!

It works better than I thought just what I needed, It is a much better pick than the suction guns, I needed something easy to use and move around in my tank. I love it, wow I have these big algae eaters and they put out alot of stuff. It looks small but it does a great job at cleaning the bottom of my tank (75 gallons)

I have a 20 gallon long aquarium. This siphon vacuum works great. It doesn't suck up all the rocks like the last one I tried. It only gets the fish's debris out. Love it!!

I was missing the short hose piece but because I needed to use it immediately (since it was delivered 1-day LATE) I had to cut the long hose to create my own short hose piece! #dissatisfied with this item!

Tubing is nice and long and I particularly like the valves to easily control or pause the water flow. Use one or both of the extension tubes to adjust to the proper depth or to reach in the back of the tank with minimal effort. I like the inlet strainer in the sand washing tube but it would be better if the tube itself was a larger diameter. The siphon ball seems more durable than previous ones I've used and it worked great starting the flow. A really nice feature is the clamps that keep the tubing in place and secured to the water bucket. The other cleaning attachments help to target the suction action to specific areas and needs. It's very versatile and makes tank maintenance easier.

This works pretty well! I have a Biorb Flow 30L (only about 8 gallons) so I chose the Small cleaner (and it’s pretty small!), but it seems like the Large would have also worked well - the only difference is the depth! The Biorb tank has only a narrow opening at the top where the light installs, so it was important to get a siphon that didn’t have a built in filter on the handle, or any other sort of mechanism that helps control flow which would add bulk inside the tank. This one is sized well for my needs and has plenty of room for adjustment during cleaning. I also really like the included accessories, even though they’re all pretty small and plastic! But, I enjoy the flow regulator, especially if you’re hoping to clean a small tank but not RUSH through the process as the siphon gulps water and you’re suddenly done before the whole tank can get cleaned. For the price, this is great option that’s worth trying!

I ordered this to help with water changes on my 10 gallon planted tank. It did an OK job the first time I used it, but there is a pinhole leak in one of the fittings where the pump meets the fittings on the ends because bubbles were being expelled from the discharge end, and I could hear the slurping. The pump itself is also a kind of soft plastic, so I fear it will wear out quickly. Since I'm only using it occasionally, hopefully that's not the case. I like all of the attachments and it did a really good job of creating gentle suction to pull small plant bits off the gravel, too. I'll come back to update this review in a few months to comment on durability. Edit: Upgraded to four stars after using it to clean twice. It actually does a really fantastic job, and the little clip for the hose is great at controlling flow. I'd recommend it as a budget option.
