The media could not be loaded. I love this telescopic rod is compact, portable and durable. This rod is all. Collapses short enough to fit completely INSIDE the carrying case that came with or if you want to put on a backpack. I chose the 7.87ft long one and is amazing. Itβs also strong and durable. Very well made of carbon steel. Exquisite aluminum spool with double color, wooden knob, interchangeable right/left hand foldable metal handle. With extra-smooth performance. Powerful 5.5:1 gear ratio, line capacity:(mm/m) 0.18/285 0.20/230 0.25/150. (lbs/yds):3/225 4/210 6/130. This fishing Pole kit includes: telescopic fishing rod, fishing reel, EVA carrier bag, 120m fishing line, fishing lures and accessories. This Magreel fishing rod is definitely sturdy, yet sensitive enough to feel bites. I don't think the rod will break under stress. Nice comfortable grip and reel seat. Plus my husband caught a big bass three weeks ago when he went fishing with my uncle. Definitely recommended.

This is a pretty nice little travel rod/reel setup. The rod is very lightweight and telescopes and retracts pretty easily. I was thoroughly impressed with the reel more than anything. It is super smooth, quick, and I'd honestly say the reel alone is worth the price of the entire get-up. The one thing I will point out though... definitely set your drag appropriately and don't attempt to bed the rod too much. I've had a couple of these travel rods and the rods are all pretty similar in the fact that they're not meant for a ton of tension. If you get snagged, do NOT whip the rod to jerk your lure loose. Don't bend the rod over to "test it out" or anything like that. It can and will snap. But if you handle it right, you can land decent size fish on it without breaking anything. Plus, if the rod snaps you can just order a new rod or use a cheap uglystick or something. The reel is very salvageable. The little tackle box it comes with is a nice little bonus. Has quite a few swivels and a few decent lures in it. The travel case is great, too. I actually don't fully break down my rod so that it's easier to quickly pull it out the case, telescope the rod, extend the line, throw the handle on the reel and go at it. If you want it to go back in the case like it's supposed to you have to take the whole thing apart again. Overall, awesome little setup. The line that's included was very twisted which caused a few minor issues on the first 10-15 casts, but after a while it worked itself out. Other than that, love this thing and will be heading out again this weekend to use it even more.

The recipient (this was purchased as a gift) really likes this fishing rod/reel. They're a casual, beginner-to-moderate level angler and only fish on vacation, so the portability is perfect. It's a little inconvenient to completely break down to put back in the case, but I purchased a camera tripod case that works perfectly for the size of the rod collapsed, and the rest of the reel intact. I was unimpressed with the original bag, so this worked out fine.

Took this out one time and on the very first cast the top part of the rod snapped completely off. It broke about 12 inches down the Rod. *** update, the seller reached out and made it right by sending me a new rod with no issues.

Purchased 2 of these for a Hawaii trip, easy to take out of the case and put in my bag. So excited to take out, rig up and throw some shrimp off the shore. As luck would have it snagged a lava rock or reef and barely pulled back which snapped the pole, day 1 of my trip. I read reviews and saw one that said this but most of them did not so took a shot, what a bummer for my trip. Walmart had $30 rig on the island that worked perfectly, sad waste of money (again i purchased 2 of them. The reel and line were fine but the pole itself is a fragile thing. Hardly any pressure, honestly a fish would have broke it,, so fragile.
